Player Suggestions

Strange one here for me is Tobias Beck, a 20 year old, left footed,right winger. He strangely left Denmarks top flight at Viborg for Ingolstadt in the German 3rd tier. Is tall at around 6’2 for a winger, is quick and has a good left foot. Also takes free kicks and is in and around the Denmark U21 team.

 

Fran Navarro who plays for Gil Vicente in Porugal. Scored 8 goals in 13 games in Primera Liga this year and he scored 16 in 32 last year. Scored 26 goals in 53 games for them in the space of a year and a half. Looks strong and an excellent finisher. Would be expensive I would think. TransferMarket value him at £5m.

Only just turned 24 so would be able to get a good few years out of him.

 

For a Juranovic replacement we could look to the J league again and Kashima Antlers right back Keigo Tsunemoto. He’s just turned 24, and is very comfortable on the ball and inverting to play passes off either foot. He is quick and tenacious in his defending.



As always from the J league I wouldn’t imagine he would cost much, transfermarkt says his deal is up in January but I don’t know if that’s accurate as it isn’t always for J League players given the lack of publicly available information.

I hope we're keeping an eye on Johnston's teammate at Montreal, Kamal Miller. Looks absolutely rapid and can play CB/LB.

Ismael Kone another one, box to box midfielder who also looks pretty quick.

 

Seen this on Twitter and had a quick look at this guy on Wyscout...maybe someone we should keep tabs on.

23, 6ft, quick, presses, got a bit of skill and decent link up play.

 

Like to see how does a couple more games but the Japan keeper would be decent potentially

 

3 in 4 for Japan, and a good scoring record at the club he’s at just now. I can only assume he’s a * or Ange would have already signed him

 

Tbf Ange does also take that into account

 

If he was a one in ten game striker, but sound as *, he’d be in amongst it. And I’d no disagree with him, cos he clearly knows more than me

 

He wouldn't be wrong either tbh. Just need to look at Ronaldo at Man Utd.

 

Aye a was half joking there but when you hear Ange talking about the most important thing for him is the ethos of the club and dressing room, in full scale hyperbole I think he’d knock back Ronaldo if he offered to come to us on a wage £20k odds more than Calmac,

 

Must say i have been very, very impressed with Harry Souttar. Think he will get some offers after the WC.

 

I said we should have been getting Harry Souttar when Ange first came in. Got laughed at… the usual calls of big diddy etc.

 

Saw a photo of him in Seville wearing a hun top. It's a no from me

 

He's good at defending his box and winning headers, but no use to us playing at the halfway line and zipping passes about which is where he would be most of the time.

 

Get Jackson Irvine back as well.....

Harry Souttar has had a good world cup but obviously wouldn't suit us at all.
