May well be true, can believe players like him, Starfelt, CCV and Jota were all on lists throughout the 20/21 season with plans for the summer but plenty of players were on those lists. Also I doubt Lennon had much to do with it, more behind the scenes scouting.

It’s the same type of drivel that a large portion of the support peddled when he took over from Rodgers.

So much smoke was blown up his * during that period - mostly fuelled by folk’s hatred of Rodgers - that it’s little wonder he’s so bitter about the November 2020 U-turn from the support.

Another day, another Neil Lennon refusal to accept blame and thinks he's one of Celtic greats.

He's not. He never will be now.

No one can argue with the trophy haul, of course not, but if the daft * is wanting to pretend he has a great game to trophy ratio, on the back of Rodgers teeing up a double for him, just to try and ease his own * ego for * the fans during that 10 season, he can, as he likes to say, "* off".





The guy never deserved any of the abuse that opposition fans gave him, from the sheer hatred and vile bigotry and sectarian abuse the Huns dished out, to the bullets in the post, death threats and need for body guards, he deserved none of that and I truly feel sorry that he had to endure that nonsense. Same with fans running the touchline swinging punches at him. Absolute sick * who all should be ashamed and done for their *, Neil Lennon not once brought any of that "on himself" as the media tried to suggest.
It was disgusting.

But, that's for absolutely * all to do with the way he handled that final season and the way he treated the fans - even long before that season he showed signs of being a * to fans. He needs to own up to that *, apologise to the fans, accept the faults of that season and then maybe some will move on.

But he has not once held his hands up or anything. He has doubled down, repeatedly, even defending lawwell and the board before siding with the fans and the players.

It was always about Neil Lennon at Celtic, it was always about what he could get from us. * him.

Had he never returned, or at least just saw out the season Rodgers left us high and dry in, he would be going down as a Celtic great for sure.

Nah on his return he won a treble and five trophies in a row. If he left when it went to *, and he took responsibility he still would be.
