    The Stranger.
Based on a true story and set in Australia about the efforts to capture the killer of a young boy.
I enjoyed it and think it's well worth a watch.

Don't know how I missed this one. Well written, cast, acted and directed. 9/10.
    Won 2 Oscars too.

Watched in Bruges again last night. Just a brilliant film. Love me some Farrell and Gleeson. Banshees of Inisherin was a good watch too.

The Good Nurse - 7/10 Pretty good. Didn't actually know about this story but it's pretty horrific.

    Barbarian

Quite enjoyed it. Proper twist about 30 mins in and it changed direction somewhat.

At least it was pretty unique.

A tad off topic but the critical drinker is spot on with this. Actually all of his 'why modern movies suck' vids are bang on.

Watched Limitless with Bradley Cooper last night on Netflix.
Thought it was decent. Good to just take the mind off the anxiety of going back to the grind today.

Coming of age drama of a Scottish father & daughter on holidays set in the late 90's and, to a lesser extent, in the present day. The acting is particularly noteworthy for it's naturalism as does the direction. Along with Fall, perhaps the best small budget film of the year. Oh, and a cool soundtrack as well, with the likes of Blur, Catatonia, REM (well, Karoake style, lol), Queen & David Bowie etc.

    Confess, Fletch

Jon Hamm's revival/reboot of the Fletch character from the Chevy Chase films of the 80's, is a pale and underwhelming imitation and is a total dud in my opinion. Honestly, just go back to the original Fletch & it's sequel, Fletch Lives - you'll have many more laughs and a better overall time.
