I haven't had a drop. My tongue was in my cheek, the thought of it was just hilarious to me.
I can see why people would end up doing something mental though and the way they the refs are acting they are asking for it.

Football is for US, as in working people. We make it what it is with our wallets, our passion and our attendance. And that couldn't be further from the thoughts of these referees. Basic, BASIC errors week after week, plus all the coverage now is just pundits arguing about VAR rather than talking about football.

The only downside of this break is that we are so close to a tipping point with this * and the break will dissipate that a bit. Hopefully either they clean up their act before the restart (unlikely) or we pick up right where we left off with the discontent and make some sort of moves to put the spotlight on them (protest at Hampden?)

Really need Celtic FC to start throwing its weight around on this. I feel like I'd happily see Celtic accept a place in England's 10th tier and spend a decade working up through their pyramid than continue participating in this absolute circus

That ref went to England and he is nothing short of appalling and embarrassing. Always gets referred to as being Australian when he’s had a terrible game… again.

My biggest worry with the * show that is VAR is that it could ultimately lead to our best players saying "* putting up with this every year".

A cynic might think that scenario is part of the SFA's master plan...

Current and future managers might also be dissuaded from joining us

Or the six counties. The * DUP would be embarrassed by the way VAR is being used in Scotland :fear:

About ten years ago now, but I'll never forget the rags ran the story that pretty much every ref failed a mock exam/test done by the sfa and the response was merely "ah well, lol"

That's the level these refs are at, where they aren't tested or educated and when it's found that they are way below par, they just shrug it off.

A bare few will study enough to get to ref at UEFA level, just, but that's about it.

They are incompetent and * poor at the job.
But what do we expect when we hire volunteers basically from local lodges?

Make them full time, make them accountable and make them know they can lose their job if they aren't hitting a certain standard.

But then, that means the people in charge also need to not be their pals from the same lodges.

The hearts hand ball, then ours yesterday, through the use (or lack of) VaR, is indication that there is cheating happening in my opinion.

VaR should look at both of those and if it's calling the first one not a penalty, then it calls the one yesterday also not a penalty.

The fact they have the technology now and are refusing to use it for the reasons it is there, or simply applying different standards to the incidents, is clear indication that they are not doing their job on purpose.

Down south, the road traffic police lot are currently (or where) trialing new tech to check for folk using mobiles and no seat belts, big van with big camera, images sent to Australia to be reviewed. Sent back and prosecuted if need be.

Surely we can beam VaR to Norway?

The main advantage of Var is that we now have actual evidence of, if not bias, then certainly gross incompetence. There's now no excuse of "didn't see it".

Celtic, and the other clubs, could take the Sfa to court for that incompetence affecting their businesses adversely, ie loss of income due to league position, missing out on Europe, etc.

The only problem is of whether we go down that road. Collum gave a penalty to the huns against us with his back turned, caught on TV, and we did * all.

Almost like the club wants hun competition......

If its a well paid, feather bedded bludge the Masons will make sure they and their offspring and lodge mates are the ONLY ones who get in. They recruit and promote their own and protect each other from scrutiny. Thats why they join.

Did the ball used to hit our hand this much pre var? I get them using that as an excuse to call penalty. However, I can't remember us making any unintentional handballs pre VAR.

Just watched sportscene...First time in years.
Not once was it mentioned that their penalty was outside the box

It was never a great show. But now it is so budgeted it might as well not be on..
Especially Thompson and Foster. Pair of *. The latter sounding like a starstruck teenager *

Has any explanation been given as to why Ross County were given a free kick for their own keeper re-picking the ball up?

Hart looked to be giving the ref pelters for it during a later break in play, then again at full time. So clarification should be given.

We'll never get any explanation of anything. That's part of the problem. On field ref not giving Dundee UTD a penalty last week is apparently a clear and obvious error, but not the ref giving the penalty today? The tackle on Starfelt during the week not a clear and obvious red card? If there's no transparency, there's no accountability. If there's no accountability then there's no trust, and if there's no trust then the whole thing breaks down.

No but VAR could’ve over ruled it or at least get the ref to look at it again
