Quality bit of last ditch defending that.

Aye the link up play with him, Hatate and Jota is a joy to watch. Felt we lacked that on the right hand side though.

I thought Ralston and Haksabanovic showed good signs of it, and Turnbull did at times as well adding into that but you could tell it was there first real time playing together, the VAR checks and keepers injury first half really didn’t help them gain a rythm either. Think Bernabei and Jota were similar first half as well,

The weird thing for me is I thought Haksabanovic, Ralston and Turnbull had good games on an individual level...but the chemistry didn't quite click there at times.

If he scored with a wee flick there, that’s one of the best we’d have scored under Ange. Him and Jota have a superb understanding, the wee reverse ball through from Jota to put him into the box, which he really should have done better with tbf, was class as well. There’s a support he brings to Jota’s game that gives him a certain freedom.

You can see why Jota’s went out his way to point out how good he is and his contribution to the team when the fans weren’t on his side.

Makes sense though eh, probably the first the 3 have had as a unit. And we rely heavily on the triangles between the central midfielders on that side, the full backs and wingers. We progress up the field so quickly in triangles from the wings.

It takes time to build up. Probs the main reason I dont want to see us rotate too heavily every weekend.

He's clear ahead for the POTY award if he keeps this consistency

Considering we paid 3m for him from Killie I’d like to think he’s worth quite a bit more than a couple mil. Especially considering he has now played in the champions league and not looked out of place.

I half know what you mean, he’ll never fetch us 25m like KT did, but I’d not be shocked if he gives his best years to us and will go on to have a brilliant career at the club, I know which I’d rather tbh. He’s worth more to us at this moment in time than any club would likely pay for him.

Whether folk like it or not, at this moment in time he’s one of our key players and it’s not even up for debate. Comes on against hearts when we’re on the ropes and wins the game, comes on today at half time and was a huge improvement and saved a certain goal, not to mention his performances for the majority of this season. He’s been ours and the leagues POTY so far and we’re almost half way through the season.

That G40B lad will be needing a new log in at this rate. Well played again Greg.

Bernabei was fine but good decision to take him off, only took one more look of the eyes at the * in black and he was off.

    Think Ange was perfect today.

Aye you feel for Bernabei a bit, but the ref was * at it so it was the smart move.

Was defo the right decision. Bernabei has a part to play and thought he was fine; no point in making things more difficult for ourselves tho, he would have been aff first challenge whether it was a foul or not.

Up against as much as any year with this VAR.

I agree that he's worth more to us right now than he would command in terms of a transfer fee. But it's relative. If Bernabei had been a level above, he'd be where Ralston is right now. Earned some respect on his name but no longer the key player he was last year. He's not a key player in the same that Calmac is and I don't see that in his future.

Fair play to him today, at the start of the 2nd half I seen him standing at the halfway line instead of going into the dugout and wondered what he was going if he was going to come on or that but he waited for that Ref to come out, then was right at him, even walked onto the park getting tore into him for a good minute.
