Taylor has been excellent this season, i wouldn't be using last night's game as a club to beat him with.

It was a very good follow up strike. Please don’t start * on former players to big wee Greg up - it’s bad enough when you do it with Jota or Maeda.

I’m sure he’ll be competent at the weekend in the SPL and we can get back to kidding on he’s Roberto Carlos.

Wouldn't be against starting Bernabei tomorrow. He wasn't great last outing but he's showed enough so far that he can be an option, and don't mind Taylor being rested for a game. He's very obviously number one for that position though.

Should be safe starting Bernabei against Dundee Utd at home, give Greg a well earned rest.

Give him a well-deserved break tomorrow. Played a lot of games recently and needs a rest going forward. Played his worst game this season on Wednesday against the best team in the world. Won't be using that as a stick to beat him with it. Been our best player this year and hopefully continues to kick on.

Won't even comment on that * * on here and his Taylor hate. The guy is an absolute moonhowler.

He was no worse than he was in all the other European games, it’s just his errors were actually punished this time.

Taylor's errors didn't lead to any goals. Two pens and of the three goals from open play. Their third was Hatate not tracking his runner which left Asensio free, their fourth was Starfelt letting Vini Jr get in front of him, then Turnbull didn't notice Valverde drifting off him to create space for their fifth, which left him free for another shot from the cutback, which is clearly something they've looked to exploit.

I dont get how you can be upset about a Celtic player performing very well? It's so strange.

I dont rate or like Turnbull, but i do celebrate when he pulls of a rare decent performance and score instead of trying to find errors to his game to slate him.

He'll accuse you of throwing all these players under the bus now to protect Taylor.

It's mad that he's still going, you really get the feeling now that he'd like to see Taylor drop an absolute clanger and cost us points rather than continue playing well, just so he can say I told you so and feel like he's the 'winner' in here.

No one is in the Turnbull thread kidding on he’s Xavi.

There’s also the constant mentions bringing me back into the thread.

I’ll say it again: nothing against Taylor. If it weren’t for the wild overrating of him, I probably wouldn’t even open this thread.

Jura letting Vini Jr run by him for the 4th as well as Starfelt. He started as Jura’s man, needs to be more canny and block that run from the get go

If none of them were Taylor’s fault, how could he possibly have had such a bad game?

I think yous are at it now, tbh.

Spare a thought for poor Great 40 Britain whose burd enjoys the company of our own Greg "Roberto Carlos" Taylor a wee bit too much.
