I hope you’re a Hun on the wind up, because if not, you’ve got serious problems, man. Some very real issues.

He's been playing well in the league but was absolutely rinsed tonight, lost possession a lot and didn't offer enough in defence or attack. Not cut out for that level but nothing that wasn't already known.

Away to the European champions! Are any of our players cut out for that level - now or in the future. I don't think he had a good game but we were put under a lot of pressure by one of the best teams in the world. The way we play our defence will always be caught out at times when playing good teams.

So we’ll just ignore the 5 other games where he was good and decide he’s not cut out for that level because of one poor one, sounds reasonable.

You don't seem to see the flaw in your own argument. If all these good teams and good managers are targeting him then he's coping with it remarkably well. And if he does make the odd mistake (which he rarely does) then maybe that's because he's being targeted and any player will be under pressure and more prone to mistakes if specifically targeted. I'd say JJ has been worse in Europe than Taylor and according to you he's not being targeted.

Juarnovic has been diabolical as well, but no one is in his thread kidding on he’s prime Cafu.

I don’t dislike Taylor, I just find the hyperbole in this thread hilarious. I watched him get torn apart by Leipzig at home - heard multiple people around me shout some variation of ‘TAYLOR FFS’ - then came on here to see people arguing that a UEFA technical observer should have given MOTM to Taylor rather than O’Riley. I also see guys like Maeda and Jota flung under the bus regularly to protect Taylor.

That’s why I’ll sit and point out his flaws. And again, I’d do the same in the Juarnovic thread if folk were flinging Haksavanovic or Abada under the bus to defend him, or kidding on he was MOTM.

Because JJ has been diabolical, whilst Taylor hasn't??? Taylor still a firm favourite for player of the year.

You're in here all last week before the Livi game, then he Gets MOTM on Sunday and nothing from you until after a 5 - 1 defeat away to Real Madrid.. Says it all really!

Yeah, because I had about 9+ notifications of utter drivel because he scored a very good strike against Livingston.

Mark Wilson also scored a very good strike once against Rangers. However, it doesn’t mean he was anything other than bang average, just like Taylor.

You were clearly watching different games to me. He's been successfully targeted in a majority of these games. I'm not saying he's been poor, but European teams have attacked down our left for a reason. He's not cut out for this level, he's no Tierney and isn't going to be. I don't like it but that's just the facts of the matter, no one's ever coming in with a big bid for this lad.

Excellent domestically, brutal against Europes best, but he’s far from alone in that.

He’s been one of our better performers in Europe this season, last night aside where he was below par.

I don't want to jump the gun or anything, but if he doesn't get MOTM in his next game I'm putting him up for adoption.

    Do you even support Celtic?

Are we now at the stage where folk are going to kid on Mark Wilson was some sort of club legend in order to blow smoke up Taylor’s *? :56:

    FFS gie it a rest....

Nobody is claiming GT is the best player in the world, but it's only fair to give the guy his due with how far he's come this season.

You go hiding when he gets a man of the match, then come out from under your rock when he plays a below par game against possibly the best team in the world. Have a word....

Did Mark Wilson not help Celtic get into the Last 16 of the Champions League twice mate? Because I believe he did.

And if that’s all it takes to be a club legend in your eyes you need to up yer standards son

And no he didn’t, he knocked out Papac with a very good strike. And scored with the shitest rebound shot you’ll see in yer puff.

It’s hilarious how absolutely everything you say is wrong :56::56:
