I thought we did well. Real are some team and we put up a fight with some good play.

Blew out of sympathy. At least we kept it to 5 and got a consolation.

 

We were away to the European champions. Madrid have pumped teams far better than us.

Is our finishing a problem? Yes it is, but I'm not going to let a game away at Real Madrid get me down.

With a player back from a 2 month injury, and another who should be 3/4th choice.
This is his first taste of champs league and we’ve held our own. Much much much better teams will go there and lose

Starfelt was decent I thought. The other 3 poor granted, hart was rotten too. It’s not like they peppered our goal all night though.

 

Hold on, a minute ago Ange was naive and not cut out for this level. Then Jota scores a screamer to get a goal back and suddenly we played well and it's good to go down swinging.

I love the way we play personally. We've seen what can happen if you are overly defensive. It doesn't guarantee anything.

 

Ah well…

Under the current rules I agree but the current rules are pish and are spoiling games.

She adds 1 minute of injury time in total across both halves?
Even at the end, one minute minimum added and she blows at 2 seconds in to it.

Booked O'Reily for an extremely harsh hand ball, doesn't book Mendy, calls a foul when oriely cleanly takes the ball,

Just to name a few.

This ref is not fit for this level and honestly, she needs called out for this *.




As for us and our play, 5-1 flatters them again, we played well in strong parts and made some great chances.

On the whole of this campaign, I'm proud.

That the Huns in 6 games v Us at the home of the European Champions? That’s not bad at all.

 

Tbf to have 14 shots at goal at the Bernabeu and have 8 on target, that in itself is a vast improvement from years gone by away from home.
