Who else remembers that cringe worthy post match interview by Rodgers in his first game for Leicester after walking out on us?

Went a little something like this

Reporter: "Brendan, first win under your belt. How did that feel?"

Rodgers: "How did Celtic get on?"

It was one of the most insincere pieces of acting I've ever seen :giggle1:

That thing the English fans shout as the keeper is about to kick it is embarrassing man.

    Cringe every single time.

The football has gone stale under Klopp. The money spent on Nunes looks terrible business as well. It’s an odd signing because he isn’t really what I would class as a Klopp type of player. In the past when Liverpool brought someone in, it was to suit a certain style, similar to Ange with us to be honest, but Nunes just doesn’t seem to fit. Tried him in Mane’s position tonight and he had almost no impact whatsoever. If he does play then surely it had to be through the middle. Thiago looks half the player he used to be as well these days.

Have to say, Arsenal have been impressive so far this season, still think City will win it comfortably though.

Read earlier that Liverpool have been outsprinted in more games this season than they last 3 seasons combined. They're absolutely burned out. Not signing a couple of midfielders in the summer was criminal.

And Nunez is such a weird player. Constantly gets into the right positions but never looks convincing.

Failure to strengthen has cost Liverpool, also the loss of Mane, Klopp looks jaded and so do the players.

thiago is the most overrated player in the EPL, possibly the world. Liverpool, just as united and many English teams dont pay enough attention to the technical and creative side of midfield. hopefully with ETH things will change at united, so far so good given our current limitations.

tomorrow against Sociedad we need to win by 2 goals, and given our appalling record against spanish teams can't see us doing it. We also have many injuries, but what i want is to see a United team playing like united, instead of being timid and scared of any half decent opposition.

Tonight in the matchday thread I read many celtic fans hoping to play more defensively against the big sides to avoid scorelines like today's, and its the same I read from many united fans under mourinho, and it made me feel like quitting watching football. Football is a game of courage and taking risks, and teams like united or Celtic must always play according to its history, and what these people always miss, is that if you play good attacking football, you'll win more than lose. None of the most famous teams in football history played defensive football, none: the clockwork orange, pele's santos, sacchi's ac milan, di stefanos madrid, river plate's la maquina, the magical Magyars.

Thats the only thing I want to see from united tomorrow: a brave team. And thats what I saw from celtic tonight, and rather we lose 5-1 than losing 1-0 with 10 players defending scared out of their wits like little kids never having a proper go at the opposition.
