At no point in that game did I ever think we'd win it.

Some of the comments, not only in this thread... * rotten.

We've been unlucky and lacked composure but not for the want off effort.

No whipping boys for me on the European stage.

I liked this post but I did think after we'd score our goal that we could've pushed on for a second.

Tbh...it shows we've still got to reach another level overall as a squad.

We need to be going out and sourcing new players that improve what we got.

Ange's system works as we creating clear chances but if we are being honest the actual talent of squad isn't at the level where we can push on.

It's a lazy comparison as well as, easy for me to say, but give Ange players of a higher standard e.g (just picking random players we've faced in the group): Nkunku, Werner, Mudryk, Gvardiol, Szoboszlai among may others, then I'd have no doubt we would be sitting second as we'd have finished chances against Madrid, Salzburg and beat Shaktar home and away.

I don't know how to explain it fully, but our current crop of players mostly seem like a squad built with guys who would be super subs.

Disappointment aside, so long as Ange remains, the board continues to spend and we expand our scouting capabilities I have hope we can start picking up great young talent at a higher level that can see us go up a level in Europe.

Any sport I've ever played we'd have got a clip round the ear for celebrating failing to win a match we should have won. If they'd drawn against RM to qualify, fine, but cheering and singing that performance is embarassing.

How many actual chances do Celtic players need, before it becomes embarrassing, pretty sure we are in the top 10 teams for chances created and probably bottom 5 for chances taken..amateurish at best..

Just think this squad is far too nice at times. If that's Jota darting towards the box and about to unleash an effort, a Ukrainian defender wipes him out. We stand off it and let him have the pop at goal.

There are moments in games that you know in the build-up are going to be crucial. As soon as we saw Mudryk storming towards goal, you knew that was going to be one of them. Someone has to take responsibility in that moment.

But didn't you just feel that if they got one chance they'd take it? I sure did, especially at halftime.

If you don’t think we’d be going mental about a point over there if it guaranteed us 3rd place minimum (with a one off game to finish 2nd) then you’re at it.

We've made around £1.8m more than blue tarts for both draws and tomorrow we get to see Napoli plonk about 5 past them so there's always that lol

The more I see their equaliser, the more I think Hart could've done better with it. He gets his.hand upto it quicker and it's stops the goal.

Going mental over drawing that game in any context is embarassing. Got to hold yourself to a higher standard.

Definitely been wasteful over the campaign but Would say tonight mate as much as we had possession, apart from kyogo we never really missed many clear cut chances tonight, oriley and big GG unlucky with a few strikes just outside the box, never seen a worse sitter than the one they missed

We'll need a higher standard of signings if we're to do anything in Europe next season.

    was just thinking this…

we might be out but have at least put up a few performances and got ‘some’ points…

Focus on a domestic treble too..

… plus we get to see a s right royal pumping tomorrow.
