    Yeah it's a strange one.

We have moved on Bitton and Rogic and actually look slower without them

He's nowhere near good enough to be a Celtic player full stop, lacks so much

    Would be looking to punt

Completely agree. Even the haircut is a good reason to sell him, but judging on his footballing ability, he is nowhere near good enough to be a Celtic player. Not even squad player imo.

He has bags of technical ability but no physical ability, slow and poor stamina. SPFL is his level.

It's no surprise but he'll never be champion's league level..

He isn't the only one either..

For me this kills our team more than anything else. It’s actually mental that given the midfield options we have we went and signed Mooy in the summer when we needed a dynamic midfielder to compete with Hatate.

I would be looking to bring in 3 CM options between January and the summer and that’s if O’Riley stays, not counting Abildgaard as yet to see what he offers and whether he would be one I would bring in. They would all need to be athletic players and a couple of them to have a decent presence.

Turnbull should be sold, Mooy the second year option not taken up, Ideguchi sold and we are stuck with McCarthy.

    From Anges PC today

The only ones from the other night are David Turnbull, he picked up a bit of a knock on his ankle so he’s out

From the weekend it'll pretty much be as is, the ones closest to coming back are Jota and David Turnbull but they'll miss tomorrow.

Sorry mate only just seen this now..

Agree on most of that. Still think Turnbull is worth keeping about as his number's are good....but he isn't ideal for the system due to his lack of mobility and being extremely one footed..

The above hasn’t age well in Mooy looking better pushed further up the pitch. On Turnbull I think he is a decent player but I don’t think he suits how we play.

I am not sure anyone would make a decent offer but if they did I would consider it. He only has 18 months on his deal and his agent is the same guy that was difficult with Armstrong and Christie in the past. Given Ange’s track record in the Transfer market I think we could probably sell Turnbull and sign a better suited to our system replacement and have change for another player.

He hasn’t been a waste of money. He made a lot of valuable contributions last season.

We can't keep harping on about last season.
He has been garbage this season, always injured and never stamps hsi authority in games.
    Hides in Hun games too.
A good offer comes in for him, and we shoudl bite their hand off.

    Lol.

I was simply stating that he hasn’t been a waste of money, because he hasn’t.

He’s already proven he can contribute, and there’s a lot of games left this season. He has struggled this season but there’s going to be ample opportunity to improve upon that. No player gets injured on purpose.

Currently I don’t foresee a good offer coming in for him due to injury, so that’s a moot point.

He needs to be fit enough to play more, 100% he does, but effect on the pitch. Stats don’t back that up at all.

And hasn’t this year, or last year, or the year before.

And at only 23, I think he has plenty of time to improve on that.
