It annoys me, too. He's an unhealthy man.

 

More worrying than annoying tbh

 

I'm sure it's been said by others but it definitely seems more like a nervous tick rather than a health issue, always does it a lot after games talking to the press, but in more relaxed interviews he doesn't cough at all.

 

I hadn't noticed this. It's a very strange tic if it was one, seems like he can't really control it.

 

We should only sign players who are 6 foot 4 and above whilst we’re playing that old school defensive football as well!

I’d rather watch us playing that attacking football and going for it than watch us play 10 men behind the ball, hoping to get anything from the game.

It’s just * to watch. We’re here to make a mark, it takes time and having the attitude that we need to play a defensive style is what will stop us progressing.

Against Madrid, we had 3 or 4 decent chances in the match. Same against shakhtar and leibzig. I’m not saying we should have won all 4 games or deserved too, but we could have if we took our chances and the games are so exciting to watch. We have just lacked that clinical edge in Europe imo.

I guess my main point is I’d rather enjoy watching us play to win than sit back and hope we can scrape a result.

 

I had written recently that I would like to see some good Scottish players signed for Celtic.
After watching highlights of the recent Dundee Utd game, I was impressed with the speed and play of Middleton.

Am sure Ange has his eye on the local talent as well.

 

I would like Celtic to have the same potential per week as the famous boxer Sugar Ray Robinson - good attack, good defense, good overall game, know when to increase the tempo - and win !

 

Middleton is nowhere near good enough for us, only player in the league I'd go for is Levitt

 

Downloaded this and started watching at work. It's too good though, seems a waste to watch at work so gonna watch it at home.

It’s not as simple as saying played five at the back and that didn’t work he played five at the back inviting pressure on to that defence Barca are are pros at unlocking tight spaces he should have played 451 with a dm infront of back four one cm an attacking mid to support striker and wingers to be the work horses probs still got beat but not the way he did against Barca

Rodgers would have in that five at back told the lb and rb to bomb forward which wouldn’t have helped matters in that instance

Mon didn’t play defensive football neither did wgs …. Walter smith did Mon and wgs set teams up to play to their strengths if team had big guys in it we would make set plays a big thing to work on
