As I said before in that last thread on Bobo, he is a money grabbing * that has no interest in football. Such players should not be at Celtic. I will cheer the day that he leaves. This does taint his spell at Celtic.

Your ambition is the Celtic Reserves for just about the same basic wage?

I'll be honest, its pretty dissapointing, and as Dempesy says, it does taint his time in Glasgow somewhat.

I've always been a big fan of Bobo, dont get me wrong, but this shows no ambition to play the game whatsoever. Fair enough, if he was taking a massive pay cut, but he would only be £2500 a week down from where he is right now. With the amount of cash he must have in the bank, hes hardly going to be on Beans and Spam taking a wage cut like that is he???

No not at all but why should he if his family are settled here?

That just sums it up in one right there. Pretty awful, in truth.

And what will he do next season, no income and a year older. He's wage demand would have to drop significantly as he hasnt competed regularly in first team football in almost 3 years by then. He'll have to move or commute anyway, he is only delaying the inevitable and it looks bad when he's turning down similar pay, first team football at a higher level than he's currently playing (Celtic Reserves)

He goes to Wolves and gets 27,500 for at least a year (I reckon he was offered a 2 year contract). Even if its a one year, he has showcased his ability for a season and there will be more suitors for him than there is now.

He's attitude shows that he should never play for Celtic again.

Because at some point he knows he's going to have to leave. His family are settled.....until May(when his contract runs out). He won't be offered another so what you're saying makes no sense unless he decides to hang up his boots

Yes, hanging up his boots has been suggested. He has a kid here and has said in the past that he may go back to france when she is at secondary school level.

He just signed the contract, some other guys were also involved in it and offered him the contract. don't hate the player, hate the game. it's his right to stay here.

spot on. Some clowns fail to see that and resort to vile abuse towards the player.
