You're the one that's pure fuming. All I've done is mention that an energy drinks company who:

    1. Cheated to get it's club into existence
    2. Cheated to be allowed two clubs in the same Europa League group
    3. Cheated at formula 1
...might be cheaters. Anyway, glad you're enjoying the discussion. I'm getting a bit tired of it tbh. Hope to see you stick about after we get back onto winning ways. :46:

Feel like we’ve looked quite good in spells but we’re still as good as out of Europe in 4 games despite it looking a decent enough draw all things considered.

That being said, being able to shift our full focus on domestic football and more specifically the league, might not end up being the worst thing.

It has shown though, we’re still a million miles away from even being a decent team at this level. So wasteful and a horrendous lack of composure in forward areas.

16 shots, 2 on target, hit the woodwork twice again. if these players cant put the ball in the net when it matters then get them punted.

maybe an overreaction but I dont care, thats 4 games in a row now where we've squandered big, big opportunities and its effecting our domestic form now too, the last 3 games have been * and wasteful.

we now have a joint record with Monaco of being the only teams to lose 7 home games consecutively in the champions league and if we lose to donetsk we will outright hold the record at 8.

I mean I watched from home so can't say anything but I thought the atmosphere was pretty dire for a big game

The atmosphere wasn’t bad, but sooner or later you have to put the ball in the net or frustration is going to start seeping in.

The light show was * terrible. Did nothing for the atmosphere tonight.

Going into these games we used to always feel like we could get something at home. Going into the game tonight I had very little hope or expectations and I imagine most fans were the same which is probably why the atmosphere was so *.

It's a shame we've fallen so far in Europe

Seen this result too many times. So wasteful infront of goal, again.

Don’t want to be too critical because I thought we played decent overall, CCV particularly was outstanding. Can see what Ange is building but we simply can’t keep missing the chances we do or we will go nowhere.

The Shakhtar result, even with Real snatching a last gasp point, is a massive kick in the balls too. I knew us not winning that first game would come back to haunt us.

Be good to see a highlight reel of all the missed chances and openings we've had over the 4 games.

McGregor and Maeda against Real Madrid, Jenz and Giakoumakis against Shakhtar, Maeda, O'Riley/Taylor, Kyogo tonight, Kyogo last week. Mooy tonight should probably have shot instead of cut it back. Could easily have had 10 goals in the 4 games and only got 2 yet we've conceded 9 and we've probably had better chances to score than we've conceded.

Been frustrating games as we could have took the lead in them all but only did it once and could have equalised a few times as well and not.

When you look at the state of the team that finished that game then you’d be surprised it wasn’t a lot more we lost by

Honestly thought we were really poor tonight. Many levels behind the Rodgers team that beat a 2nd finished Leipzig.

Was at the game so will need to re-watch but thought that was incredibly poor. Folk say we had a few chances but they had more than a good few chances at 0-0 where they should have put us to bed.

Ange has said a thousand times that pragmatism is not enough. He sets his team up to have a go and they created enough chances to win the game - as they did against Shakhtar.

Being pragmatic - with the resources available to Celtic cf the other CL teams - aint enough. That might mean we're less likely to lose but where are the chances/goals coming from?

Ange will be raging at that result - like he has been in every CL games so far - because we didn't take even one of teh numerous good chances created - by the system.

Hopefully he's got a * hot striker lined up for January.

    Yes?

You asked why are players knackered and I said the system? I.e. the intensity of it. I didn't say I didn't like it, merely that would be my explanation.

Yep, just like last week it was a terrible performance. I won't be happy clapping just because we squandered a few chances we should have scored from.

On the balance of the two games we should have lost about 12-4.

Absolutely miles off them and they're not even that good. They won't make it past the last 16. *.

There's no excuse for professional footballers to miss so many chances with such consistency as we've seen in the Champions League

It’s alright him saying pragmatism isn’t enough but he has never tried it in Europe and his system is proven not too work

Said it during the game... I've never seen a team create so much and not score and then concede so * easily.. there's the proof..

Before the game there was an air of inevitably about this result.. we'd huff and puff and give them a game for 60 minutes then boooom... the inevitable collapse..

It's our first time back at this level for a while and Anges first glimpse at this standard... we have a decent first 11 but our squad is no where near good enough.

I'm going to assume you meant the Shakthar game and not Real game when you say that.
