I get the feeling that a lot of people expected to enter the Champions League and waltz it, or have instant success.

Never gonna happen. Let the team gather experience on this stage to progress.

 

Can't complain.everyone knew how the game would go and it turned out that way.we are just Europa League standard.thats the hard honest truth.onwards up upwards .move on but * me I don't know what we are doing in training but it isn't practicing our finishing.HH

 

Oddly enough I'm not too disappointed. We just aren't ready YET

 

Well we only have one more CL free hit next year and coefficient has taken enough of a hammering so won't need to suffer through much of this in future years

 

Yep,he but is an honest enough guy who gives his all but he lacks ability and seems to panick when he gets opportunity,s,i am actually beginning to think his bottle is gone.

 

Ange needs to adapt for Europe, his philosophy only works of we bang in the goals early. But we can't hit a * barn door right now.

Seems to me there's nothing wrong with the system if we make so many chances. Ange can pull their * out but he can't * for them. Got to take chances when you're a professional * player!!!

What does concern me was the fatigue in the last 30 mins. How the * does that happen?

 

I don't think the practice would hurt. Hardly any of them seem to be able to put their foot through a ball and actually strike it, then can look at more complex shooting drills and the like. Scuffed and ballooned shots, or * it from hitting it at all.

 

Hatate, Maeda and Kyogo all hopeless.
What chance did we have ?. And when will the management realise this ?.

 

It wouldn't matter if we played any other formation.the problem is the fínishing.

 

Financially and physically we can't compete at this level and we need bigger players in the door as we are a small team and some of these teams look like * bodybuilder giants and play our fringe players remaining two games and concentrate on the league games .

 

I feel that there's a lack of confidence at this level

 

We should have had at very least 2 by half time. Amazing what that could have done for us.

Can we just stop with the work in progress * please and just call it what it is * ….. I argue against the this is a step up for players yes it’s a different competition but this team played in Europa last year in my eyes in this group the Germans and shackter on a given year you can get those two in Europa so to say it’s a major step up to play those teams is a cop out this team experienced that calibre of team last year in Leverkusen and betis


Madrid is the only game where that argument is valid and again I’ll go back to the derby games that calibre have f opponent we play 4 times a seasons so this team should be doing better this year
