Glorified sprinter. What you get in workrate you give up in game intelligence and ability. For a team needing to score he wasn't the answer.

 

There’s only so much pressing, tracking back and hard work that can carry him through games.

 

Sketchy? It’s non-existent at this level.

 

He was better than Kyogo and Abada but still can't finish to save his self..

 

Only remember him doing one decent thing all night and it was a shoulder challenge

 

Doesn’t excuse Maeda who stands out more than anyone else unfortunately.

They are all culpable.

 

I thought he was better tonight, got about much more and got in some good positions, bar that abysmal cross.

 

Off the ball he’s terrific, on the ball he’s chaotic. His conversion rate is shocking so far this season.

Great defensively. Saved taylor loads. That shoulder barge was class.

Attacking game.. Good except his pish end product. That cross... ffs.

 

That ball made me ill..

 

He misses the easier chances, almost weekly at this point.

 

Runs about. Quickly.

 

Needs a spell on the bench. Desperately out of form and confidence

 

Yeah but again, do you think he's a good player? Hatate is a good player. Maeda isn't, he's very limited verging on poor.
