Just a typical Celtic European game. Lucky not to concede and somewhat unlucky not to score.

I think coaches show videos of us as an example of how not to defend. We stand off players far too much, let runners go and ballwatch, press in singles and not as a unit, never anticipate 2nd balls, allow crosses in all the time and put ourselves under pressure needlessly.

 

Taylor has been excellent again, liking the cut of his jib recently, definitely most improved player of the season this far.

When you think about it we gave them a goal, gifted them a goal and they got a goal in the last game. we aren't as bad as we think. Yeah they're a slick outfit but just saying anything is possible.

 

So, so many chances created and really should've buried some of those chances. That said, Leipzig have had their share of moments also. Jenz having one of his best games in a Celtic shirt and Taylor doing pretty well also. Losing Abada, another injury, we are having a 'mare with them once again. :/

We HAVE to takes some of these chances.

 

Jenz, Haksabanovic and Taylor have been immense.

 

Final ball ,just snatching at chances ,and picking wrong options, you can see we are trying to force place instead of relaxing into the game and using the head before passing ,some nice play down the wings and some great cutting passes , but final ball let's us down

 

Theirs a mentality in our team at top of that park that think we miss this chance don’t worry we will get another sorry at this level doesn’t work like that chance come you put the * away

Our defending is shocking at times except Taylor who has been superb. There has been a few times, especially around 16 minutes where Taylor has been pinned back with the ball with no where to go, 3 or 4 Celtic players looking at him instead of going out to help.
