People will say Kyogo is wasted on the wing but he's not involved enough playing through the middle and it's a far bigger waste to have Giakoumakis sitting on the bench in place of Maeda. Kyogo will give same work rate and pressing but will actually be able to contribute when we have the ball. Kyogo was initially signed as a winger, it's time Ange got over that game at ibrox at start of last season and tried him there again. The biggest issue with it that day was that lazy * Edouard not wanting to break a sweat bcoz he knew he was off the next day.

Even if Jota is fit I'd play Kyogo wide. Swap Abada for Jota

 

We don't need to hit them in the first 20 mins . Game lasts 90 mins. Get the ball, keep the ball make it so we are running the game no silly errant passes no defenders running mad and forgetting they have to defend too. We are a classy team good players who can and will score goals . Would it be MAD of me saying would GG and Kyogo would be a good pairing . GG can hold the ball up and kyogo has the ability to get Into good positions.

 

Oh and I go for a 2- 0 win for us

 

Lepzig will score unfortunately although I do think we will win..it's going to be a very tight game and if it's 2-1 and a scrappy match, I'll be delighted! Go all out, get the 3 points on the board and worry about the other game when it comes around.

 

i dont know why we dont just go 4-4-2 with the fullbacks playing in the middle there is plenty of bodies in there .each of the strikers could take turns droping deep or pressing.

 

Unfortunately atm I'm not expecting a win here. Hopefully a draw but try and keep the game a close call for as long as possible. Think well be out of gas mid 2nd half again esp with a few still out.
Think our hope for continued euro football is the Shaktar game.

Mooy, Maeda, Forrest, Turnbull and GG all to play roles second half.

Although that would mean one of the central midfielders playing the whole game, so maybe Abildgaard comes on instead of Forrest or Maeda.

Our injuries just seem to be piling up now.

Guys like Haskobanovic will have to really step up to replace Jota if he's missing, however it's more likely that Maeda may start.

O'Riley needs to find some form as well.

Gonna be a tough match...hopefully any type of a win can be achieved though

 

Hard to know what to expect tonight. I think either a hard fought and nervy win or draw or a disappointing defeat but hopefully I'm wrong and it's a glorious unexpected victory by a couple of goals. We need all our players to show up and hit top form.

Solid win where we take most of our chances would be the boost we need, put 10 past hibs at the weekend.

 

If we get beat I don't care. If they come out and pull a worldy shot etc fine. I just don't want beat because of silly defensive errors.
