David Turnbull

People are quick to forget his contribution last season. He's still a good player, he's just had a bit of bad luck with injuries and is struggling to find form.

 

Turned the game in a bad way.

 

If Kyogo buries the chance he tried to take round the keeper people are praising Turnbull rather than slating him

 

Again, don't think he was too bad. First pass was wayward but after that he was fine and if Kyogo was on the top of his game would have been a great assist.

 

That was a good pass to be fair but outside that I thought he was hideously bad..

Gave it away quite a few time's..

 

Any word on why he wasn't in squad last nite?

Really don't need another midfielder injured right now

 

If McCarthy can not only get into the squad ahead of him, but even into the team ahead of him, then it would seem to me he's injured.
Hopefully something minor.

 

He travelled so hopefully it was an illness thing rather than any sort of injury but as usual we hear fuckall due to the idiots who do interviews on BT sport being too thick to ask these questions as they probably didn't even realise he wasn't there

 

I like him but he’s taking his time to improve

He's got tonsillitis.

 

One player who will definitely be out, along with Callum McGregor, for the McDiarmid Park clash though is David Turnbull.

The former Motherwell starlet is suffering from tonsillitis.

 

Thankfully he is just sick and not injured so hopefully he should be back for next Tuesday night at least.

 

Ange said hopefully will be for Tuesday, but will have to wait and see how it goes.

 

His lack of pace and a left foot is a major issue. An upgrade on him in January should be a priority

 

He'll probably run his contract down..

 

I think it goes along with the impact he made tonight, * all.

 

Didn't realise he was coming into last 18 months. Aye either that or we'll try to get something for him in summer.

Definitely need a player with more energy/pace bringing him on when we are having to force it in games has no benefit to us. Would be as well just leaving a blowing out his * Hatate or Haksabanovic on

 

He's been like a ghost all season. Not Celtic class.
I would be up for giving Scott Robertson his chance now.

 

I actually can't believe we don't have a more mobile midfield considering how important it is in an Ange system..

If McGregor and Hatate aren't in our middle 3, it's probably one of the slowest midfields in the country with Mooy, Turnbull, McCarthy, Ideguchi and O'Riley..
