A guy with his experience should never be playing that pass. There's no sugar coating it. It was crazy and lost us the game.

I don’t think it did. They were better than us and would have won regardless. Sometimes you just need to say the better team won and not make scapegoats. He did mess up. Hopefully he learns from it. I could be wrong but is this not the first goal we’ve conceded playing it from the back since he joined? I few hairy moments but I don’t remember us ever losing a goal from his passing until now.

He does, but some of the comments are way OTT. Which was my point. He does deserve criticism for it.

How we all laughed when the rangers done the same thing against us. Here is the problem, players are so focused on following the managers instructions to the letter they make mistakes. there really needs to be some * leeway and not just pass pass pass out from the back regardless who we are playing. Said it many times it will * us at this level because we dont have the players who can cope under pressure.

Agreed. The player needs to shoulder responsibility and , in this case, just launch it up the park rather than blindly follow what he’s been told to do.

My point is they are standard saves you’re sacking your keeper instantly for if he doesn’t make. Boruc, Forster and Gordon each had a highlight reel minutes long of fantastic saves they made. Off the top of my head I can’t think of one ‘magic’ save Hart made. I’m not expecting it every week.. it’d be nice if it happened a few time a season.

    Completely agree.

I don't think he's done though. He is on the decline though. He did what he was brought in to do and steady the ship and bring experience. He was invaluable last season.

However, we need to be constantly looking to improve and his position is getting closer and closer to the top of our priority list imo.

I stand corrected about it not being a difficult pass..
Too simplistic to say they’re better than us and would have won anyway. We had just had a huge shot in the arm when they got that goal disallowed but instead of capitalising on a huge stroke of luck we’d * it up the wall within 15 seconds.

You’re being very harsh here. He’s made some top drawer saves, and at crucial moments. Forster especially however made saves that I didnt think were possible at crucial points in a Match. And I think that’s influencing your judgment on Hart a little.

I dont disagree. It knocked any wind we had for sure. And that’s on Hart. I’m just saying that , whilst he deserves his criticism, some of the comments are way over the top.

Agreed, certainly wouldn’t be dropping him but as has been said a new number 1 is probably our main priority for next season now. Ideally one who will be more suitable for how Ange wants him to play.

    Needs a * boot up the *.

You cannot make mistakes like that in the champions league, or even the europa league. SPL aye, no bother, the * players in our league will rarely punish you for passing it to them, but at this level it's * idiotic.

It never cost us the game, we were lucky to walk away with a 3-1 defeat, the goals that got chopped off were dodgy as * decisions.

I still think we have a chance of coming 3rd, which would be much more preferable than 2nd for me, I'd rather we play a team/tournament that we can compete in.

For me the most important part of the team....look at what FF did for us in some games. No one is bullet proof in a properly managed team.

Honestly man I know I've said it on here quite a bit and tongue and cheek before our first game against Madrid as well but jeez......

We're away in Europe. No wonder our side gasses like * playing against top side's and he's sprinting and jumping over the advertising board's to take quick goal kicks or running to the edge of the box to throw it out to player's tryna catch their breaths..

We're 1 each away in Germany in the second half and under pressure....yet he doesn't keep a hold of it for a minute whatsoever..

Does my nut. Wish he'd use his..

Aye I feel as though that's been an issue with our team for a while.

It's the lack of cuteness sometimes, buying a free kick when we're under the cosh for instance. Could be that we've got a fairly young team, or it could be Ange's instructions.

It does * me off as well. Our players are * idiots sometimes. A real lack of intelligence sometimes.

I know "the manager wants us to play that way", but when there are three players pressing so close to our goal there are times when a simple punt is the sensible thing to do. We are nowhere near as good playing out from the back without CCV in there.

The pass was on but Hart doesn't have the required skillset to pull it off. As a 36 year old veteran, he should have known this and taken a different course of action.

Brainless from him in such a pivotal moment of the game. He definitely deserves to be dropped and its not just because of tonight. He's been suspect since pre season.

There's quite a few excellent saves here.

Calls for him to be dropped are naive.
