Thus is what I keep thinking about. We were 100% certain at that time we were getting skelped, as our squad was nowhere near good enough it seemed. But did ourselves more than proud.

Never write this team off with Ange as leader.

I have no * clue what to expect tonight. Not a Scooby!

A loss today is by no means the end of the world for us.

A draw would be a distinctively middling, safe result.

A win would be nothing short of a major miracle.

With everything going on with our defence due to injuries, our very recent overall form and the fact we are away from home against a team pretty much being equal to us in respect of having a point to prove in the group due to previous results I would be largely pessimistic and say a loss is most likely.

However, if we can find that magical type of form we showed against Betis last season in immediately blowing a team away we could maybe hope to give some of the players some PTSD of the Shaktar result despite then having already got rid of the manager responsible for their squad at the time.

If in light of our current issues, we somehow spring a win....I'd be lost for words and that would be so critical to the rest of CL campaign, seeing Leipzig all but papped out but more importantly a win today could give our guys a much needed boost of confidence to get their domestic form back on track.

massive game - and just like us to go into it with BOTH our first choice centre backs missing

Kyogo and Jota havent been poor recently this is the sort of game they should be totally motivated for - im hoping they show what they're capable of

Thought Applecart might come in to shield the two centre backs but looks like we’re just going to try outscore them rather than be cautious :fear:

Mon the hoops, get them pumped.
