Shakhtar battered these in Germay with a worse team than we'll field tomorrow. C'mon Celtic out the traps early!!

    Their keeper's shaky as *..

Press him and get right on him..

They play a high line as well so we can definitely get in behind..

It's the other end I'm worried about..

Aye definitely a worry defensively. Fancy us to score, but we will need a few to get anything out the game I think. Optimistic for a 2-2.

We need the first goal mate..

Need to be clinical also. We waste far too many big chances..

That Shakhtar result will really sting if we don't get at least 3 point's from the next two game's..

Reckon we can get something out of this, our finishing has to be far better though. It’s a loss not having Abada as an option as well as CCV.

If we pull it out the bag here we have a great chance for at least 3rd place.

Fearful for us without CCV. Abada probably wouldn't have started anyways- controversial opinion but if we start Maeda then we should start GG as well. Those two were excellent last season and both play better together I think. Anyways I think we should line up:

    Hart

    JJ
    Welsh
    Jenz
    Taylor

    McGregor
    Hatate
    O'Riley

    Jota
    GG
    Maeda

I expect Kyogo to start though.

Aye I think you are right about needing to score first. If they go ahead and get their tails up, it could be a long night.

Been thinking that too. Think I’d start GG for that reason tbh.

Midfield is the key here if they play well think we can get something but hart and the defence need to communicate better and also close down quickly.

First 20 minutes are key, we don’t concede we’ll grow into the game. Still going for 2-2 even without CCV.

All this talk of, “all we have to do is win our next 2 home games.” is all well and good, but if we lose here tonight it put huge pressure on us going into those games, especially Leipzig at home.

If we could nick a draw here it would mean the home return game is not necessarily a must-win.
2 draws in these 2 games would have the same affect as a win-lose, and much easier to achieve.

Saying that, I share the concern with most posters on here about Welsh and our current form.
A draw would be a massive achievement!

The last 2 games and the fact we're missing key players gives me the fear tbh. Hoping we turn it on massively for the occasion and have been doing shooting drills all week.

    1-1

Should be beating this mob but with CCV & Abada not travelling I’m rather nervous not confident one bit. Hopefully get the job done as I think in order to qualify we should be taken 3 points from this Lot.

    Is this a parody account?

You literally said, and I quote, 'If that’s the case get * rid. The club should always come first'

Haven't felt this nervous for a game this season, and that includes our game against the kit merchants

I’m finding it hard to be confident without CCV and Starfelt.. missing Abada is a kick in the nuts too.

I’ll muster up plenty of confidence come kick off though

Listened to a couple interviews on Celtic fan media with people who are familiar with this side and it's not as bad as some are making out - they are defo to be got at. If our midfield and attack play to their best then we will create opportunities

CCV is a huge miss for us. Not too bothered about Starfelt and Abada even though they are good players we have other players in their positions who are effective or offer something a bit different.

the drop off in quality from CCV to Welsh is quite big though hopefully he steps up tonight
