Just got no idea how the flow of this game will go. Hoping for a draw but the first 15-20 minutes will tell us a lot when it comes to how much of a threat we’ll be

A bit of confidence seems to have been lost since that St Mirren game. The overall mood just seems to be different somehow but I'm confident it's just a wee blip that every team will go through. Nothing to overly worry about.

That said, it's difficult to imagine how this game is gonna go. Normal circumstances I'd say we will go on the front foot and shock them on their own patch, but I don't know this time. Just have a niggling feeling we're gonna struggle for a wee while, compared to our blistering best at least.

Steering clear if any predictions, just hoping we start to click early doors, and TAKE OUR * CHANCES. A sluggish start will only create more uncertainty on the pitch.

We need to avoid a loss on Wednesday to still have advancement in our hands. Welsh and Jenz will probably struggle against Werner, Nkunku and co. We need a fit CCV to take charge at the back and Jota and Kyogo to bring their A game to have a chance.

I’m in agreement here, think we’ll create enough chances and we are due for another performance to click by taking our chances. Think we are going to have a win with it being 2-3 or 2-4.

Yeah he won't be playing as Yom Kippur finishes tomorrow. Jews don't work on the day of atonement and I'm pretty sure the club will respect that.

The local kick off time is 9pm so sun would have gone down (when Yom Kippur ends) but they would have just had a 24hr fast. I would assume they travelled yesterday or early this morning to as Yom Kippur starts sun down tonight and they need to have eaten before.
Celtic kick off 6:45 local time so sun will still come under the holiday.

Think this one is a bit of a free hit to be honest. I’m not expecting us to win out there. That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be aiming for it but given our CBs will likely be Welsh and Jenz, then I’m not expecting anything.

However, if we beat Leipzig at home and Shakhtar at home (alongside Madrid doing the business), the table would look like:

    Celtic 7
    Donetsk 4
    Leipzig 3

That would mean we would defos have CL last 16 in the bag. Those are the games we need to do the damage in.

we cant play for a point away from home (play tight, compact and with depth in defending), personally, i think if there is anything negative about ange it is knowing when in europe away from home when to adopt to suit.

    a point tomorrow
a point / 3 point at home leg
    a win v shak game

would get us 2nd or 3rd in the group (i prefer 3rd) with real madrid taking points in the other games

if we play an open attacking game I think we could be left exposed with their 2 x strikers creating chances, CCV will be a big help if he comes back

hoping we even take the lead from a corner or set piece even to get the advantage tomorrow. CL results can throw up funny wonders from time to time

If we try and play a defensive game we will lose though, the team ain't built to play defense, we have to play our game and attack, aye it could leave us exposed but so will they as they like to play attacking, it should be quite an exciting game, Shame we are missing some key players though
