When you watch the video if him in the warm up no even attempting to save shots. I've never seen anything like it..

 

Yet still I don't despise him as much as big Craigy G...

 

Had come with a good pedigree, handled Greek football cauldron, surprised it didn't work for him here, but sometimes just isn't a good fit for a club, that was the case here. Once you enter that death spiral it's a long way back.

 

I agree this was the problem. The club was too big and the pressure too much. He couldn't hack it and had basically chucked it before the season even started.

 

That's him called up for Greece now.

 

See he got another clean sheet today. Surely someone will take him permanently at the end of the season.

 

Someone will take the punt, it's why I'm glad he's doing okay.

 

They called Lev Yashin The Iron Curtain I call Barkas The Beef Curtain.

 

I hope we get some money for him. I have seen some bad goalkeepers in my time, but Barkas takes the biscuit.

 

Not seen too many video updates in here, presume someone's assembling a blooper reel for the season.

 

From what I read he having a good time of it there. A few motm awards. Baffling but true...

 

He never even made seven saves total in his time here ffs.

 

The important thing is we get some money for him and get him off the books and hopefully lessons learned.

* knows what went on with him here. 100% didn't want to be at the club for some reason and never tried a leg due to it.

 

It’s not just that though most of the guys who are on loan you would probably say are surplus to requirements but doing fine at the level they are playing at. We have seen how good Ange can be in the transfermarkt so generating a few quid off these guys not to mentioning wages of the wage bill could free up space for some more new recruits.

For example we have:
Barkas - keeps going like this someone in Europe will give us £2m for him
Ajeti - his buy option is about £2m
Orhoghide- has a buy option but not sure what it is probs a £1m at least
Scales - If he does ok at Aberdeen the some English club will pay £750k- £1m to take a LCB that can pass the ball a bit.
Soro - He has a buy option and I thought it was a bit shaky but he at least lasted past the 70th minute in a big win. I suspect his option will be around £1.5m.
Hazard - had a good loan at HJK Helsinki, title winner EL experience. Maybe
£300-500k.

So up to £8m for all them, who are currently contributing nothing at all not to mention the wages saved.

 

From what ive seen a lot of shots are pretty much straight at him but he's actually pulled off some genuinely top saves

 

Some players just can't handle the pressure of being at a club like Celtic
