Learning curve for him tonight. Too many touches and overplayed the ball when a shot or pass was on. But he'll get better.

Dribbling is like alcohol, I guess?

Exactly how I saw his game. A bit more composure and he is putting other players in to score. Good to have the lad.

He had ran out of steam clearly by the time we were bringing on Turnbull, Mooy and Giakoumakis but couldn't sub him that early as we only had one left, probably a bad decision to start Haksabanovic knowing he'd never last that long having no played much in 4 month.

Aye. I think he definitely belongs at this level but tonight was probably an eye opener for him and what he needs to do to improve and tbf I think that was the case for the few in the team.

Poor tonight. Decision making definitely a part in us not winning.

He played tonight like what I thought we were originally signing. A good dribbler with no end product.

    Poor.

CL slightly above his level of ability , few good runs but had to be more intelligent with final ball

Next level for him is to step it up in Europe. He's not terrible, far from it, but his decision making could be better (He seems less greedy at Domestic level, bit weird)

He's going to run riot against one of the teams, probably Real Madrid at the Bernabeu just as a GIUY to everyone

Wee man was * devastated sitting there in the dugout when he came off. He knows he * it missing they chances, but will get there eventually.

Actually think the whole team were devastated which is why big Ange was pretty lenient in his interview. Good man management that.

Wasn’t great last night and aye and should have let the ball go to other players but he has that extra bit of magic.

Still a quality player who can win us games in his own.

Shame he waisted those two runs into the box, either take the chance to shoot or if there is nothing on pass to your team mates who can. I don't know if it was lack of confidence or greed but can't happen again. Hopefully he will learn his lessons from tonight.

Invicible in the first half out on the right wing. Was more influencial when moved over to his favoured left side the second half. Shakhtar was very compact and hard to break through for our wingers after our first goal. Still a bit underwhelming performance on Jota's part, but he’s getting valuable experience in this tournament.

We need to stop playing him on the right. He shines as fast as he is moved over to the left.

Not for me, his decision making was really poor, I think he looks like he’s trying to do too much and putting a lot of pressure on himself.

The one where he nicked it off the boy on the edge of their box had to result in a goal he squared up the first guy and went inside him then all he had to do was slip in GG for an unmarked shot in the 6 yard box, but instead he tried to beat 2 more and ran out of space.

I think Hatate has been an absolute stand out for us in the two CL games so far as he looks to play his own game and looks assured, a lot of our other big hitters look a hit nervous at times. I was disappointed to see him go off last night as I thought he was still impacting the game well.
