He’d have been proud of Hart’s efforts at the goal.

He's clearly making a point of why he's a GK and not playing the game in the center of the park.

Taking the * out of himself and his ability with the ball at his feet

Nah sorry, he's quite a few levels below the standard Boruc and Forster produced for us in Europe

That’s a harsh way to put it, he tried to anticipate the shot across the goal and got it majorly wrong.

He done poorly for it, but ducking out the way, even if in the end it’s kinda the same thing, is a different thing. Like Kayal against Atletico kinda way, wasn’t like that.

They two are far and away the best ever keepers in Europe for us, and it’s not even close.

It’s like saying Kyogo isn’t upto Larsson’s level in Europe for us. It’s not a level I expect, expect him to be better than he was for the goal, but if he doesn’t reach their levels that’s ok. Cos they levels were insane.

My point wasn't about Forster and Boruc - great keepers for us and I love them.

But you said you don't think Hart is at the level required for Europe which is just nonsense. If he was dropping clangers or regulary failing to stop shots he realistically should be saving then I'd be inclined to agree - but he's been solid domestically and in Europe so far.

He’s more than good enough for us at that level, but he shouldn’t be compared to they two in Europe because it’s * unfair. Both of them pulled off incredible saves that we at the time didn’t even think they could do. They are the best we have ever had in goals at that level.

Said above, thats like when we compare guys to players like Henrik. Because that was the level of performances they had in the CL for us.

Or slightly less controversially, like comparing Jenz to Van Dijk or something. They’re good enough, but I don’t expect them to be world class. Because in the CL that’s what Boruc and Forster were.

He shirked from it mate. It was pure instinct as it was a split second thing. Kayal had time to make the call, Joe didn’t. They both shirked though.

I don’t think it was that, I think he tried to anticipate it going across goal, because 90% of the time it does. But that’s the wrong thing to do there, and it cost us, and I expect better. You stay big at the near post and close the angle, and if they finish in the far post in the small space that’s left, * it, because it’d be an exceptional finish.

I’ll try to watch it again. My memory was yea he anticipated the low shot, but once it was hit he could’ve potentially let it hit him in the chops (might have been slightly too high anyway) but he shrunk instead. It’s easily his worst moment in a Celtic shirt that I can recall.

Edit: watched it in slow mo a couple of times and still not sure if he ducked or guessed wrong or both lol

That tune playing in the background? Is that what I think it is?

It was a quality strike in fairness and suspect if he had gotten a hand on it, the power of the strike would have still beaten him.
But he should have made a better effort.

That’s what he should have done, he * it either way. Deciding factor for me though, is why would he choose to duck away from the ball without a reason behind it?

Only answer would be he’s a shitebag, and I think he’s shown enough that he’s absolutely not

Think he thought the boy was gonna go low and hard across him and went to go that way.

There's a reason why he's not still plying his trade in the EPL.

I don't think he had much chance with either goal but I do wonder about his organisation of the back.

Yeah it's called a contract with Celtic who play in the SPL.

He's hardly been horrendous, he's been a brilliant signing and all he can do is spread his body, and it's then down to luck.

I like him, but how many times does he actually save a shot that he’s got no right getting to? One where you say, * *, what a save that was.

It’s all comfortable saves you’d expect most keepers to make, and there’s plenty he could be doing better with as well.
