The * sitter misser ffs

 

Big Ange trusts him and he is all over the park so that is good enough for me. Think he gets some undeserved criticism though, don't see anyone criticiing Jota or Giakoumakis for their attempts.

 

Sunday league finishing..

Horrendous.

 

His composure is * terrible.

 

I wanted him on for his running power but he disgusts me infront of goal..

He's absolutely diabolical infront of goal. So bad it's no funny..

 

Not sure if he gives us anything at this level expect from his pressing - which as a matter of fact, doesn’t seem as intense as it is domestically.

Gets in good positions but his finishing is way off...

Some of these finishes it would be easier to score than miss. Don’t know how he manages it sometimes...

 

Love uis energy and work rate but his finishing is terrible at times.

 

Sorry, but he’s just not for me. So many parts of his game are atrocious.

Technique is * dreadful. I doubt there’s an attacker in the entire tournament with worse composure.

His pressing is a quite unintelligent as well at this level. Puts the * up SPL jobbers but doesn’t work at this level I’m afraid.

 

I thought he was unlucky tbh. On the stretch for that last one and the overhead deflected wide

 

Is a squad player and a rotation in for rest at home on big pitch against russ county.

Is not - and never will be - a guy who will score 15 goals in a season and given his position that’s not good enough to start most games.

not a big investment and has his place in the squad.

 

Hard working but his finishing is gash.

 

Wont mention the obvious but his tracking back stopped their counter on that left the whole second half. Old mate didn't have a sniff.

 

It was a hard chance to be fair, never timed his feet to get onto it square and ended up lunging at it. Was by no means a sitter like vs Madrid.

 

He puts in a huge shift and I think he helped nullify their goalscorer in the 2nd half but he doesn't half waste some great chances.

 

Another * sitter missed to put us ahead.

His finishing is * awful

 

Has his strengths undeniably, but he's horrific in front of goal.

 

He did a job on Mudryk but we just can’t afford to miss chances at this level like the ones he’s had

 

Pity Ange doesn't deploy ball-winning midfielders. Maeda could be converted to one. I like him, but he has limitations that are at odds with his playing position.

 

Thing that really puzzles me is when you watched his YouTube clips in Japan he looked really clinical. Watched it again earlier and can't believe it's same player.

Maybe there's a corresponding YT clip that's bout 6 hrs long and is just him missing sitters
