    been off work ill for last 4 days, thought I was dying, tested everyday for covid, clear as a bell, got up this morning feeling great but as I had already booked day off for sick couldn't go in, so tested for covid and found out I've tested positive. so work told me to come in if I want to but have to wear a mask and no sitting in canteen. covid can go f*ck itself.

    I didn't learn this today but did learn it very late...

    My wife used to whinge about me being less than completely accurate when getting up for a * in the wee hours. I had no issue with cleaning it up, just felt she was too judgmental about some poor * standing there half asleep in the dark.

    "It's alright for you," I said... when an epiphany hit me.

    That's right, I now sit down like a girl for a * in the middle of the night.

    Happy wife / happy life.

    Whenever you apply for a role on the trains (platform moron / gate moron etc.) you're just being put into a line until somebody leaves..so the job isn't really there per se. It's their system of having a constant turnover of bodies ready to step in once a position opens.
