Played as well as anyone last night, doesn't deserve criticism

Having watched the game again, Real Madrid targeted him heavily in the second half as he’s clearly our weak link.

Ancelotti must just be a hater or not know football, despite it clearly working.

What the actual * are you slabbering about?

Taylor was probably our best player on the park last night, other than Callum McGregor.

Real targeted the LEFT side of the pitch because they knew they were getting joy out of that side of the pitch because Jota was leaving Taylor so exposed, if it wasn’t for Taylor we’d have been far worse off last night.

Wee man played an absolute blinder for the majority of match.

    No, he wasn’t.

I’m all for celebrating his obvious improvements, but to say he was Celtic’s best player last night is laughable.

By no means was he poor last night - no one in a Celtic shirt was - but he was clearly successfully targeted and exploited.

Callum McGregor had a far better performance than Taylor.

I actually think Taylor himself would be embarrassed the way a lot of folk are rambling on about him. Seems a humble guy and definitely a hard worker - so no doubt he’ll be analysing his mistakes last night.

    Wow.

Either you are extremely blinkered, didn’t watch the game correctly, or have zero clue about fitba.

    Possibly all 3…

That must all apply to Ancelotti as well then, as he targeted Taylor in the second half.

    Pish.

Taylor was left exposed by Jota's lack of defensive covering - not shocked that anyone with a brain (nevermind Ancelotti) could see that targeting the LEFT of Celtic's area was gonna pay off somewhere.

Saying they targeted Taylor specifically is lunacy.

Jesus, flinging Jota under the bus to defend Taylor.

It really is becoming stigmatised to even question Taylor.

Nah pal, its stating the truth.

You can question Taylor all you want, but don't talk pish about the guy when he's not long put in a * superb shift against arguably the greatest club side in footballing history...

Taylor done great last night, he’s not to blame at all. We are always going to be open to the counter, he held his own just fine.

Blaming any of the players for those goals is pretty *. They were all world class goals not much we can do when our squad cost half of one of their bench players.

So it’s fine for you to criticise Jota etc. but no one can criticise Taylor?

Also, this Real Madrid side is nowhere near the ‘greatest club side in football history’.

Greg Taylor put in a * shift last night days after destroying the huns. Not having any criticism of him whatsoever.

Yes, because Jota was pish and Taylor wasn't. Really not that hard to comprehend.

And, 14 European cups - one of which being the current one they hold, (nearest challengers AC Milan with 7) would suggest that aye, they are the most successful club in history.

Yep, the fanfare of Taylor at this point is weird bordering on creepy.

They have won 5 of the last 8 champions leagues. Who is better?

Aye, imagine supporting and speaking positively of someone who has been in superb form since the end of last season, and has just put in a tremendous shift against the reigning European and World champions :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Only one person coming across proper creepy, and that's you, fella...

Errr… the Real Madrid side has changed quite a bit in those past eight years.

Are you genuinely saying that Real Madrid team is better than Pep’s Barcelona?

Jota has been superb as well, but according to you it’s OK to slate him.

You’ve just shown your hand, anyway. You’re refusing to acknowledge he was successfully targeted last night as you can’t analyse him objectively.

    :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

You're a complete tool, and certainly someone who's knowledge of the football game is very limited.

Away and argue with a pavement, you might just get some joy...
