Think what helped Taylor is the fact he was a CM in his younger days . Said it before he wa one of the first to get anges style

Tillman. I had a browse of their forum to laugh at their pain and they all think he's wasted out right. Taylor had one moment where Morelos muscled him off the ball late on, but thankfully he wasn't able to do anything with it once he won possession. A very good performance from Greg.

Was brilliant yet again, he’s simple yet effective. Watch his positioning both attack and defence, came on leaps and bounds under Ange.

His transformation under Ange has been astounding, right up there with the transformation of Ralston too, two players I would have gladly punted before Ange took over

I wouldn't be surprised if he takes off that Greg Taylor mask and it's Ralston underneath.

Taylor had Tillman in his back pocket. He did the same with their last project too.
Great defensive qualities and improving going forward all the time. It's great what confidence can do
to a player. Loved his cheeky back heeler too.

I say this as a massive fan of Taylor, but tomorrow really will be an acid test for him. He’s been outstanding for 6-12 months now but tomorrow really will be a massive step up for him but confident he can put in a performance.

I agree with this but there is no doubt as decent as Taylor was last season he has been a different player this season so far, he looks so comfortable coming inside and looks to have improved physically.

He is never going to be super fast or strong given his frame but he doesn’t seem to let much past him now and very rarely wastes a ball.

All three of Taylor, Ralston and this year so far in his few appearances Welsh all look so much better than prior to Ange.

It's been hard work for GT3 but to his credit, he rode the wave and handled it well.

Coming in after KT was never going to be an easy task but he's gone to another level under Ange. The next big test for him will be seeing how he goes on the European stage.

In terms of domestically, he's only young, and I can see him being a main stay for years if he continues his current form. I don't think too many teams down south would come knocking unless he absolutely blows it out of the park.

I think it's a bit unfair to say it's a big test for Taylor when it's actually a big test and a step up for every player in the team. Why single him out? Why will he be scrutinised more than anyone else? It suggests he's still not fully trusted even though he's been one of our most reliable players for quite a while.

Amazing how a player can improve when you hire a coach who does video analysis routinely, rather than once a decade.
