    Yep, thought he would have done it ages ago but the last 2 seasons he hasn't scored many but I think he will get there.
    I think he is also on 99 assists. So imagine if he could enter the double century club.

    This is the thing. Why the * would anyone want to see a club hero (who is also an academy graduate) sold when he's happy to provide decent cover? Swear some * think this is like FIFA :56:

    Delighted for him scoring tonight, 14 seasons in a row is some achievement. Hope he reaches the 100 club now.

    Probably not true though.

    Bobby Lennox, Jimmy McMenemy, Patsy Gallacher, Kenny Dalglish they probably did it as well as the first 3 played about 500 games each and weren't the main striker and Dalglsh played more games than Larsson and was probably more of a playmaker than a goalscorer.

    If guys like Lubo and Naka got 50 assists in 130-160 games Dalglish probably got well over 100 in 320 games.

    I'm fine with him coming on and seeing out these types of games. But with the options we have now unless we're desperate you don't want him on when chasing a game. He's definitely lost a lot of his pace but still has the technique and positional intelligence to offer us another option. He very rarely loses the ball in tight situations and that's a good quality.

    I'm sure with his new contract Ange would have laid out certain terms and conditions i.e. less game time for the foreseeable, 4th/5th choice squad option; bringing experience to the squad. To be fair he's been a great servant, there's definitely worse positions to be in as a footballer.

    Brilliant from Forest, scoring every session for 14 seasons and truly a Celtic Legend and although he isn’t as great as Jinky or Henrik and wouldn’t claim to be it’s still a stunning achievement and shows his loyalty and love of our club

    James Forrest now has 98 goals and 99 assists for Celtic FC as he gets nearer to joining an exclusive list of only 2 players to have recorded 100 goals and 100 assists for the Hoops.

    The other 2 are arguably the 2 greatest players in the club’s history – Henrik Larsson and Jimmy Johnstone.
