Struggling to play football again, Southampton much better at holding the ball and moving it about.

Liverpool result likely a fluke as they were able to sit in and then make 1 pass through the Liverpool midfield and have breakaways of 2 on 2 and that all the time and get joy.

All these Southampton, Brentford, Brighton, Wolves, Leeds, Crystal Palace sorts of teams seem to find it easy to outplay Man U and create chances, they need to get much better at using the ball.

That boy Lavia for Southampton just turned 18, was thinking he was playing well and looks good as well youd never know he was 18, looks a good size, athletic and very tidy.

Bella Kotchap in defence also looks good, nice on the ball, quick, bringing it out and had a few shots, nice bit of skill to skin Casemiro a few minutes ago.

Some good young players.

Looking at him Arsenal or Man U should have signed Lavia, would get a game for them.

I think they blundered selling Sterling, Sterling was quality with Aguero used to jink down the outside on the right and get balls in for Aguero to score a lot of goals. Would have done the same for Haaland instead they have Mahrez who cuts in to shoot mostly and doesn't really create a lot then on the left they have Grealish and Foden who don't really have any pace.

De Bruyne will set him up plenty with those long crosses and he'll get the odd through ball but their wide players don't seem well suited.

 

Rodgers might get sacked, playing against Chelsea who have been down to 10 men a while and now they're losing.
