I hope him having less then 10 touches a match isn't a recurring theme...

I might be talking * here but I think a big part in that is him and Maeda don’t quite link up well (I know Maeda assited him this weekend so hopefully that continues) and Jota hugs the right touchline when he’s on that wing, last year with Jota on the right and Abada left, Jota moving inside with the ball and Abada making a run in the box left him with a lot of space to collect the ball. He’s more isolated this year.

But I also think Rogic might be a part of that, because he took the ball in with his back to goal and turned with it constantly, he was basically the focal point and Kyogo could have freedom to move wherever he wanted.

Think kyogos strengths are his movement and runs in behind which he can't do with 10 men parking the bus and sitting in deep one of the reasons GG looks so good when he plays for me is his constant involvement in the build up flick ons, holding up etc harassing centre halfs. But I do remember Kyogos chances against Leverkusen at home and his run against Ferencvaros for the Jota assist,

I think he'll be a big player in Europe for us this season with GG possibly coming out on top again domestically.

As good as O'Riley and Turnbull are at what they do, there are definitely qualities that Rogic had that we are missing so far and Kyogo is bearing the brunt. Don't know what you've got until it's gone and all that.

I don't care if strikers have few touches if those touches are converting to goals.

He does so much off the ball there's no need to touch it much, you see similar with GG but he dies do more hold up but gets nery few touches in the box because most are an attempt

Thought he was very good in the first half. Involved in a lot of our build up play.

Going to a fascinating battle this season with him and GG to be the main man upfront.

    For a guy who's 'off-form' he's doing ok with a goal a game, isn't he! :57:

Seriously, how lucky are we this year with him and GG in this kinda scoring form. Right kind of headache to have. Hopefully they'll carry that into Europe too

The thing I love about these Japanese bhoys is that they all seem to be team players. Might be a cultural thing, but I see a lot of things along the lines of "Good to help the team win today" or "Glad I did my job helping the team" which is refreshing.
