That pretty much sums it up. I liked him when he was fit and playing for us. But the serious injury has just ruined his Celtic career and at this point its best for both sides if he is sold in this window.

Get Jullien, Ajeti, McCarthy and Johnstone out of the club permanently and we should surely be freeing up £4million in annual salaries.

Never mind maybe the odd million overall that we maybe get for selling them all.

That allows us to thin the herd and then put back into the squad and help increase the quality in rotation

I liked the big man and thought he was class however, he's been acting like a bit of a * lately and could be causing disruption in the dressing room with his attitude. It's therefore time for the club to do all they can to shift him and the other driftwood out of our club

With them all being so far from our starting 11 now and having played so little recently to shop window themselves, I'd be surprised if anyone bids for them offering wages on par with what we're currently giving them, think the best we can hope for is loans to cover part of their wages, but otherwise they'll probably see out their contracts.

Julien especially with his injury being such a massive setback, it would be a bit of gamble for other teams to take him on hoping he'll be as good as he was before, and from his perspective if he can't get back to where he was we might end up being the biggest contract or his career, so I honestly wouldn't blame him if he wanted to get every penny out of it.

I mean for the four of them I'd expect that £1mill is reasonable to bring in transfer fees.

Perhaps Mikey does the heavy lifting there as he is still young and some side still bids £750k for him

I don't think we'll be holding out or worrying about fees for any of these guys, just happy to get them off the wage bill if offers come in.

The issue is them actually accepting a move, we were happy to let Julien go to schalke but it broke down because they couldn't agree personal terms. If the offers on the table for them aren't close enough to what we're already paying them, why willingly take a pay cut when he can just see out his contract and move on a free.

I agree overall the money saved in wages is the key thing with them for me.

Obviously that is also reliant on a club offering them either better terms than what we do...(da fuq would do that though)

Or only ever so slightly less than we do but pretty much guaranteed game time no bother.

I appreciate that is gonna be difficult to find but we do desperately need that wage off the books

Christopher Jullien should have his medical examination tomorrow with the MHSC. If there is no problem (he has not played for a year and a half), he will come to reinforce the pailladin hinge. Olivier Dall'Oglio is under pressure.

According to the newspaper L'Équipe, the central defender of Celtic Glasgow, Christopher Jullien, should arrive this Tuesday in Montpellier for his medical examination. The player trained at Toulouse Football Club has not played for almost a year and a half.

Been said multiple times now but CJ, Ajeti, McCarthy and Johnstone out in any form would make it a tremendous window. Allows us to bring a couple more in too.

A productive loan for Gucci would be a bonus.

Lets hope there are no complications with the medical and he agrees personal terms. At this point its best for everyone if he is sold. Any word on how much Montpellier are offering for Jullien?
