Edinburgh comedy festival just about to kick off so may be some truth to this..

 

I'm still both amazed and concerned that DD thought this would be a good signing.

 

Him leaving, along with Jullien and Ajeti, in some capacity would allow us to go out and get probably two more players who will contribute and take us forward.

Need these high earners who are literally not offering anything to move on.

 

Would love him go, can't see it but.

Have a feeling he is happy to be here, pick up a decent wage packet and come on every other game for five minutes.

 

If we can get him, Jullien and Ajeti out the door I will give up my job and begin my full-time career as a disciple of Ange.

 

Hes done can't believe we gave a 4 year contract to him and forrest exact same wages it's costing for wot nothing.

 

He won't be gone but to get him, Ajeti, Jullien along with hopefully getting others who are out on loan to stay away and get signed permanently could well save the club close to £6million in wages.

If we got them out permanently now:

Probably saves us about nearly £4million in wages.

If we then could see all of the loanees currently out all signing in elsewhere by end of the season and then maybe add in a guy like Bain we should be able to all those wages (£6million) towards so strong signings, possibly in Jan or another early start next summer for next season.

I would get it if he was one of the lowest earners, because we will always need players who can fill the gap when we have injuries etc, and players who are good to have in the dressing room, but on a 4 year deal is strange to say the least.

 

McCarthy has made his money... he's spent most his career in the EPL... he's also seems like a fairly professional kind of guy... never heard any bad reports about him.. I'd imagine he wants to finish off his career playing and not sitting on our bench

 

Not the total bombscare Duffy was but has pretty much done nothing. Think these toward the end of career Premiership signings are way more often miss than hit.

 

He’ll head off to America, still get good money and not too bad a level.

 

If he's off, we're definitely getting another midfielder in. No way we're letting McCarthy, Bitton and Rogic leave while only bringing in Mooy.

 

It was desperate times last year, the squad was a mess and Broony had just left, think we were all just content to have new faces in the door.

Thought at the time he could be a decent alternative to Brown as he was a fair bit younger and been an EPL regular almost his entire career, but with hindsight we’d have been as well just keeping Broony.

Really hope it’s true that he’s got some offers.

None of it makes any sense and I hope the Person is no longer at the club.
