There seems to be a number of issues which are contributing to his overall quietness in games.

Wee man is missing Rogic and Turnbull. I can see Hatate is trying to feed him but hasn’t quite got there yet.

Also think Maeda takes some of the space away from him because Maeda plays fairly narrow.

The other thing is Jota is much more effective on the left and I think that also has an impact.

One of Rogic's most underated qualities was how good he was at busting through defences, keeping possession and feeding the ball through to our wingers and other AM to then feed the strickers when under pressure. Alot is made of assists and goals and Hatate, O'Riley and Turnbull will cover us fine there. But they all need to strengthen up to cover all aspects of what Tom brought last season.

Was thinking about Rogic first half yesterday actually..

Was crying out for someone like him to link the play and find the right pass in the final third..

I’d like to see him playing in the midfield at some point, his energy and ability on the ball is wasted at times up front. If we sign another striker or winger it could be an option.

Just think GG when fit should be first choice and it’s hard to leave Kyogo on the bench.

His ability on the ball isn't that of our actual midfielders though.

The only time I’d like to see it is of an out and out attacking midfielder, pretty much second striker a la Kaka, behind GG.

I don't actually think he's that good on the ball.

For me he needs to be more involved in games. I know a big part of his game is off the ball but it'd be interesting to see his stats in terms of touches on the park as at times I feel he can be very quiet.

Just seen that's been discussed above.

I think he’d add a different dimension to the midfield though, especially if we play him just behind the striker. Since Christie left we’ve not had a midfielder that makes runs into the channels often, something we miss at times.

Kyogo Furuhashi has set his target on getting 'even bigger' numbers after his brilliant first season at Celtic that saw him net 20 goals in 33 games in all competitions.

The Japanese hitman made his debut a year ago against Hearts after not even meeting his team-mates prior to the game and hit the ground running with a hat-trick on his first start a week later. Kyogo was hampered by injury that saw him miss much of the second half of the campaign but he still managed to get 20 goals but now he wants to add even more goals to that.

He admits he could understand the confusion of his team-mates during his early days at the club after the transfer came from nowhere. But he feels like he's in a great position to become the hero he is determined to be as he looks to continue helping Ange Postecoglou'smen.

Kyogo feels like he's 'crossed a mountain' at Celtic Park in his first campaign but he's promised fans there's more to come from him as he really gets settled into the league.

He said: “To be honest, it felt like my first season at Celtic was over in no time.mI was confident in my J-League era and that was valid as I could get in front of goal and score.

“However, I was also able to score 20 goals for Celtic last season because I had team-mates who understood and accepted my characteristics.

After the transfer in July, I felt the atmosphere of, ‘Who is this guy?’ in the team.

No wonder. I came off the bench in the first game of the season but that day was actually a case of, ‘Nice to meet you’ with my team-mates.

“There was a quarantine for about ten days after entering from Japan at that point. So I had to join the team and play immediately. I participated in the second half, but I hadn’t even been training with the team, so I didn’t get a goal.

“I tried my best in that game, but it didn’t work. However, I was able to score three goals in my first home match the following week.

“It was great that my first goals caught everyone’s hearts. I want to get even bigger numbers in the coming season.

“I want to be humble, work hard and aim for the position of a hero. But I already feel like I’ve crossed a mountain at Celtic. Of course, I think I’ve won the trust of people by helping us to get results.

“But everyone understood my character and I was able to break out of my shell.”

Was poor today, no doubt he will work his way into the season and be back at his best.

He was unlucky a few times. That big fella at the back for them defended well and blocked a few of his efforts.

He'll probably score 20 goals again this season but his lack of hold up play might be a problem at times.

Love the guy but he's so weak

Wee man is class, he’ll be just fine. Big GG is an out and out centre forward. Both great players . Good times
