    This is seriously underwhelming. I'll reserve judgement for now but first impressions seems like we had the chance to push the boat out and reach the next level, and, as ever, we've chosen the cheap options

    I would hope his scouting extends beyond City group players we'll never get, and leftover targets..

    Guess it depends on how involved he was bringing in bernabei.

    It all started so well with CCV & Jota, bernabei was an unknown but still a reasonably exciting signing, Mooy slightly underwhelming however low risk as he was free and is likely cover for an area we are reasonably strong in (still need a proper DM) this guy however is a signing for an area we are thread bare in and in need of some quality. Time will hopefully prove me wrong but not a great signing in terms of improving the team.

    He was having to work his notice and hadn't actually started at celtic when Bernabei was signed. I'm sure I read that anyway so like I said previously I'm not sure Lawwells even started yet

    Plays on the left side of the centre back pairing looks good in the tackle and looks quick enough. Definitely an improvement on Welsh and Julien. Not sure what people are expecting ?

    He signed for Lorient for £3.2m. I’d imagine it will be around that price, especially if Lorient weren’t impressed: they’ll just try get as much cash back as possible I’d imagine.

    Tbh think that's just a poorly put together youtube video. In Wyscout he's got a 40 min compilation of him in aerial duels lol he looks decent in that area so far tbf.
