I do think he’s a decent player who would suit the way we play, as well as covering a few positions when we get the inevitable injury crisis.

That said, if it doesn’t happen I won’t lose too much sleep over it, as I believe it’ll mean we have someone else in mind for the role.

 

Exactly, losing out to Toney and signing Ajeti is not remotely comparable to not signing another striker when we have the two best in the league.

The freebie put Hoopsfans on alert and had them dreaming of another Larsson, like his famous father, starring in green and white hoops. But Football Scotland has learned there is no plan to sign Larsson and that reports suggesting as such were wide of the mark.



It remains understood that Larsson's representation HAD been in touch with Celts as well as a number of different clubs to put the 25-year-old in the shop window but sources at the Glasgow champions put an end to any links that may still be surfacing beyond that


It has been reported that Larsson is on the radar of clubs in England's Championship as well as foreign clubs who could still look to do a deal.

 

Aye that alright until ange’s training * another hamstring and we’re down to one. Then we have those Asian internationals to think of. We could still have done with larsson and I’m sure we’ll regret not signing him. We would also have made money not only with the merchandise but selling him in a couple of years

Even if we dont sign Jordan,we still need another couple of signings like this....The team injuries were a disgrace last season,we need to be covered this time...with Jordan in or not.

Am I overly bothered if it doesn't happen? Nope. Think we could do better but he would add something for us and give us great depth up top and a bit of versatility..

 

Katie Price is usually available. Cheap as well.

Ach well...

I've no doubt he'd have made a fine addition to the team overall. But if we were never interested then that's that.

In reality he was unlikely to come here but I honestly would have * loved him here.

I wonder if those reports of his agent putting feelers to clubs is true but with it came the "my client is available for x amount per week" type shitck and Celtic looked at it and was like.......nope.....not at those demands.

 

I would be surprised if we pick up just as many hamstring injuries this season. Klopp had trouble when he initially took over at Liverpool with players picking up muscle injuries, but it’s not something they get bother with now. Players will get used to playing and training at a high intensity.
