Its the atmosphere that wins us all our home games in the CP. Think if he had that in the SPL, we would probably win just about every home game....

Definitely makes for tough viewing. It sounds like the atmosphere of an unimportant baseball game over here in the States. It really is amazing how incredible the atmospheres are for UCL/Rangers games (possibly the best in Europe), yet so horrible for the rest of the games (possibly the worst, at least for big-name teams).

I just don't understand it, the fans are like the 12th player, they can really lift the team and spur them on, do get the logic in going to the game to sit and watch in silence, they'd be better staying at home.

At points today it seemed as if Celtic were playing in an empty ground ffs. We all know the effect a good atmosphere can have on games so it is hard to understand why the same fans who go to CL and Huns games and raise the roof with their noise will also go to the average SPL game and sit there in silence. It's going to be hard to improve on this because people just don't seem to get excited about us playing the likes of St. Mirren and it showed, we had a boring game along with a * atmosphere.

Did you see the football they were watching. Not much to cheer there. Heard the singing section try though.
The away fans however were amazing last year, particularly during the run-in

just back from the game, absolute * disgrace :31:. a sit down below the green brigade so the atmosphere was no bad in my wee corner, but that was the only place singing. people are too scared and no wonder, you get dirty looks if you stand up, never-mind singing. also there was alot of kids there too ( much more than usual). oh well typical parkhead .

If we could get the C.L atmosphere all year round we'd demolish the likes of St.midden et al. Think of taking potential signings to a game and watch their jaws hit the floor. Sign here please, Mr Messi....

i think a lot of it has to do with the kick-off as well. champions league games are 7:45 on a wednesday night folk are in the pub beforehand therefore more liable to sing. half 12 on a sunday morning people are still trying to wake up. i mean the folk who give you dirty looks for shouting/singing/standing up by the way. even midweek games in the spl are better atmosphere than bog standard afternoon ones.
