Very strange that this has just got more frequent recently. Could everyone that's getting the banned message PM me the IP address that they were using at the time and I'll look into it.

Just go to https://whatismyipaddress.com and take note of the IP next time you get the banned message.

It just happened to me a bunch of times in a row there. Unfortunately I couldn't get into the site at that point to see you were asking for the IP address at that time, so I can't tell you what it was at that point, if it helps though I use Nord VPN in case that is part of the issue.

Had the IP address banned again all day on the mobile network. Not a problem on the WiFi.

I've been getting hit with this secure connection stuff too, or a warning page from my virgin modem's built in virus detection blocking access to the site as not being safe. This is on an ethernet connected pc aswell not just wifi on my phone. I can get on by changing my ip to another country in browser, maybe an ad on the page that's specfically localised to the uk that's flagging up as dodgy?

@Celtic Mad Me too, my access to talkceltic went down 2 days ago, virgin media is reporting that the site has an insecure certificate yet it is https, so that's clearly incorrect. Furthermore and even more interesting I got my GF to try go to the site on her computer and virgin reported the site is unsafe and has blocked it. I have no idea why this has happened as the access was totally fine a few days back. We both use computers connected by ethernet (no wireless) and both are running the latest firefox browsers.
As a get out of jail regarding the virgin access to this site you can go to your virgin media account go to settings and turn off their "Web Safe", that will then allow you to get back into the site, however it is not the safest option.
Also as a side note you can access the site no problem in the "Tor Browser"

Are you with Virgin? Could you take a note of your IP and PM me it the next time it happens?

Thanks for letting me know, I’ll look into it. Did this only start for both of you a few days ago?

For me yes only 2 days ago. If you want I'll turn virgins Web Safe back on to see if it does it again, pretty sure it will, I can also take screen grab if it helps. I can send you my IP then too.

    Let me know

Yeah, give it a go turning it back on and see if you get the message again. Are you browsing to the site with "https://" at the beginning?

@Celtic Mad Well seems everything is working just fine again, turned my "Web Safe" back on and it's going straight in to the site. Also, yes I was using the "https://", I always do.
Did you find out if anything was wrong seeing as it seems to be working fine again ?
