Norwich would be a defent move on loan but doubt there’s truth in it.

Probably ship him out domestically and hope he can put an injury-free season together.

 

The difference is, we had no other option but to play Tony. There is no chance that MJ is going to get game time on the left this season for me with Meada and Jota he’s * on the right side and I don’t see him being a 10 either.

MJ is injury prone and hasn’t kicked on enough for us to keep him at the club for me.

Suffered from poor management when he first broke through, I think he would have been a different player altogether under Ange.

When he first broke through he wasn’t pish, and the poor management was him being put upfront and used as a target man when Eddy wasn’t available.

Rodgers hung him out to dry tactically, to such an extent we were saying on the forum at the time he was making a point to the board that he needs backed.

Said that Eddy was fit to play 60 mins, and brought him on 20 to go with Mikey competing for headers up top. He done it twice to him against Rangers, played him as the loan striker. That’s shocking to do to a young winger, he said it was awright though, cos he tested against Motherwell where he scored 2. 2 goals that were not strikers goals whatsoever, just good ability.

Mate, see the confidence point, hearing Ange that full first half supporting him from the touchline. He was bigging him up majorly from the byline closest to him. See that for me, that’s calculated from Ange, making sure he’ll get the confidence behind him. Because he has the ability.


The question mark for me, and the only question mark for me, is if his body will allow him to kick on. For me he deserves it, the attitude he’s shown to come back time and time again is insane. I want that potential fulfilled for us, and that attitude to be brought into the team when he’s flying. It’s a big if, a big big if, but I’m so much in his corner wanting it to happen for him it’s unreal.

He'll have a great preseason and do * all when it matters.

MaedA, Jota, Forrest, Abada all cover the wide areas and we are already debating signing Larsson who can cover a wing as well.

Needs to get proper run of games, he's a player in there, I'm sure of it, but the stop start way his career has went, it's not gonna help him if he only gets 15-20 games for us again, subs at that.

Get him to the sheep or something.
I'm sure he will play well at one of those clubs and will be all the better player for it.
