Tbf to him though him and Weah made a great impact January onwards that season.

 

Would be quite happy to sell with a buy back. I think there is promise there.

 

He'll never be a full back in an Ange team.

I'm sure you're right but when I think of those two it just sums up the decline of the Rodgers era and some of the absolute dross we signed. Can only remember him controlling a five yard pass out the pitch and sprinting after it like a bit * bull missing a red cloth.

 

You know what, maybe ‘great impact’ was a bit strong, but they definitely gave us an initial lift after the winter break.

Both had chipped in with a few goals and assists and we’d stretched the lead a little bit at the top, then Rodgers went to Leicester.

Don’t think Lennon fancied either of them though.

 

They gave a lift mainly as it seemed Eddy was shattered as he was the clubs only fit striker and he looked tired.

 

I honestly don't get that... you've had an entire season knowing and previously agreeing to the buy value. Then you want say it is too high?

Initially I'd be more than happy to listen to offers but I'd also give him a wee chance in pre season to see if he's improved and can offer some use to our 11.

I was at that game and he didn’t let anyone down. He grew right into the game and looked solid. I think he would come good for us. I like him. He needs another chance.

 

Yeah better option than elsh for me , can also play a few positions

 

I've not seen enough gametime of his to have an opinion if he's good enough but surely the only thing that could let this kid down is technical ability his effort and dedication is not in question, Wish some other talented youngsters over the years had this lads commitment to his trade. Hope he makes it

 

Probably not good enough for us, but there's something about him I like, dunno what it is. Saying that, I don't see a place for him in our squad at the moment.

 

Watched the Betis game back. He's got pace and power which I like but his positioning was all over the place. It was really bad actually.

Be worth looking at him in pre-season to see if thats improved.

 

He played a couple of times in pre-season and was a bit reckless in some of his tackles, passes and positioning. Wasn't impressed at all. Particularly at RB. Thought he might do better at CB were he also plays (I think).

But thought he did well in the Betis game. Would judge him on this preseason, although if Juranovic is staying not sure there is a place for him in the squad regardless.
