There was quotes from ex Newcastle players and managers at the time in 2016 they had signed too many French players and their attitudes where the issue. Let’s be honest though the 4 we have had all stunk the gaff out with their attitudes

Dembele - wouldn’t train to force a move
Edouard - moaned cause we didn’t give him his move in 2020
Ntcham - turned up 1 game in 5 and had issue with his attitude and application.
Jullien - spat the dummy out a few times publicly on instagram

 

If you can claw something back great and as you say get a decent wedge off the wage bill

 

That will be a fair chunk off wage bill if he goes.

Dembele and Edouard have been two of the best strikers we've had since Larsson left. Couldn't care less that they left in less than ideal conditions. Jullien did a pretty good job for us until his injury, and has hardly spat the dummy out. That's just exaggerated bollocks.

Suggesting we don't sign any more French players is beyond stupid.

 

Jullien has only started rubbing me up the wrong way since he was injured and talked * before our last game of the season and annoys me personally with his social media..

He's been a good player for us..

Ntcham was a rotten egg that had his moments..

Edouard and Dembele were fantastic for us, despite how I now think of the former and his last season. Overall they were great signings..

France have the best conveyor belt of talent by a country mile, literally..

It was imperative on shifting the deadwood, especially when the deadwood were some of our highest earners. Well done to those involved in shifting those players doing * all and picking up huge wages.

Rogic was the only one we'll miss and Bitton chipped in now and again but I'd be surprised if the rest made double digits in appearances combined last season.

We could lose those players and not weaken the squad. Ange will be looking to replace those guys with players who will contribute.

I'm really excited to see how we shape up when the window closes.

 

Dembele was promised a move and Rodgers said he could go, even told him he wanted to take him to China when Rodgers thought he was going there. When that fell through he tried to block Moussa from going to Lyon. He was every right to be raging and was proven right.

Edouard’s problem was we had his final key year under an unprofessional *.

Don’t even remember Ntcham saying anything. He was just inconsistent.

Jullien has done one thing and that was an interview hoping for a goodbye to the fans and rating himself better than he is. His Instagram stuff isn’t a bad attitude it’s just a riddy because he’s 30.

But aye, let’s avoid the best footballing nation on the planet at the moment…
