How many g of pasta do you eat per serving. I serve 50 to 60g, I used to have 100g per serving but found I was quite happy lowering it. Give wholewheat pasta a go too

To be honest I've never actually weighed any of my food m8. I just throw some in the pot. Does wholewheat taste much different from the normal pasta as it doesn't look as appealing due to it being dark brown?

There is a difference, but texture is the same,, the stuff is like 50p a bag so worth giving a go. Because it hasn't had the wheatgerm stripped it has far more vitimins that white pasta.
I generally only weigh pasta and rice. I use brown rice too and enjoy it but I get what you are saying about how it looks.

You should eat pasta every day and have cakes, coffee and * for breakfast. That's what Italian people do and none of them are fat.

Done this sprint (if you could call it that) workout the last 3 Tuesdays and running on Sundays as well as 2/3 days weight training. Just need to get the diet under better control and hopefully start shifting a few lbs (stone)

Changed my routine a wee bit.

2 mile swim , Saturday and Sunday 9 AM

2 Mile swim Tuesday and Thursday 6 PM

Building up the miles on the bike road harder than the bike in the gym.

Still baby steps and slow progress but it's frustrating when once upon a time I had abs and could run 5k in 20mins or under.
Just need to stick with it.

I rejoined a gym a few weeks ago. Doing 2 to 4 visits per week plus a circuit class. The circuit has these 2 women on their 50s who compete against each other over who can do the most classes in a week. The older one did 8. Embarrassing when you are a 37 year old who shags himself out doing 1.

Had started going running again a few months back. Was honestly struggling doing 1 lap of the running track, but after a few weeks back doing it, was comfortably doing 6/7 laps. Was aiming to build it back up and get back to doing 5ks eventually but as usual, had a mad one, on it for 4 days around the time of Liam Gallagher gig last weekend and it's just * everything up. Diet/energy level goes out the window.

I have a few days away this week, back on Wednesday and joining the gym again from then and going to get right back into it. Knocking the drink on the head for a while because when I do, I actually commit to it and see changes within a week or so.

First run since back from holidays last Monday. Pre season begins tomorrow, not going to be fun :99:

Aiming to be doing sub 20 5k’s by the time the actual season starts towards the end of August.

I've been going to the gym for a few months now to try to get both fitter and to loose some weight for a knee operation. One of the gym instructors says I should try to vary my routine and perhaps try a class so I tried a body pump class for the first time a couple of weeks ago which, apart form one other guy, was all females who were also in their 50's and they too were all fit as *. I done the macho thing and tried to keep up with them at first but ended up having to leave the class to spew my guts up. So you're not the only one M8
