Usually I'd agree but he's earned the right to choose where he wants to go to finish he's career.. I certainly won't begrudge him that..

After being linked to this team, which is well below his standard imo, I wonder if Tam feels like his struggle for fitness is going to cut the longevity of his career?

Everyone knows a footballers career is a short one and Tam has always struggled to see past 60 minutes of play. When you combine that with his leaving being out down as 'for personal reasons'. Wonder if he knows something about his body that we don't.

I know where you're coming from but he's still got alot to offer us and is only 29 so at least a small fee (i.e £1/2mill). Well below what he's worth.

I tell you who won't be shy in playing up the fact there's no transfer fee tho, his agent when he takes a big massive wedge of the inflated signing on fee.

Farken * I hope not. He's still in his prime. At least go to the bigger leagues in Asia like Japan or Korea :nonono:

I'd be surprised if he doesn't end up back in Australia or Japan.

He’s ruled Australia out. I don’t know why he would go play in Indonesia. 28-30 degrees at night, lots of pollution, can’t see that being a lot of fun for him to run around in.

I hope he ends up in the J-League. Flight is only a couple of hours longer to Japan.

Former Celtic hero Tom Rogic is ramping up talks over a move to Indonesia.

The 29-year-old left Celtic on a free transfer after a formidable season that saw him clinch the Premiership and named in the SPFL team of the season

He then pulled out of Australia's World Cup play-off success after wins against United Arab Emirates and Peru, citing personal reasons as he looks for a new club.

The playmaker has been offered a lucrative deal to play in Indonesia with Persija Jakarta as former Borussia Dortmund and Hamburg boss Thomas Doll looks to revamp his side.

The Socceroo has reportedly been given until the end of next week to make his decision.

I'd rather he just sign for Borussia Dortmund or Hamburg.

Disastrous if true. He will hate it there.

    The money must be ridiculous.

Seen online 23 Billion IDR. Which is about AUD$42k per week or $2.2m per season. Or for the GBP crowd, a bit over £24k a week.

Surely he'd get more than that in the Petro leagues, where at least he'd maintain some sort of level.

    Very disappointing if true.

100% would get more than that in the Middle East.

He has said he’s looking closer to home, and that’d be the 4th highest paid player in the J-League.

It's his life and he can do what he wants but gosh this is depressing as an Australian.

    He's not even 30 yet either! :55:

If true that's a bizarre move for him. He's 29, most footballers peak between 28-32. Got a good few years left in the tank, maybe he just isn't that motivated anymore.

Would love to see him in La Liga. He'd suit Spain down to the ground. At least go to the J League or something.

Don't think it's a lack of motivation....he's taxed his body a lot and probably knows he can't do it at a fairly high level for too much longer and wants somewhere pretty easy where he can still earn a nice wage..

There is no doubt he'd have had a good few options globally...

And without going straight back to australia. Indonesia is roughly under 6 hour flight....even Japan is over 8 hours give or take.

Seems like the next best thing he could get in terms of being closer to home
