Double that and the club would entertain the offer, but nothing less and the club will not be actively trying to sell at all.

3 more years on his deal, a year with UCL and another year proving his worth, we literally have history of this sort of method and know what the going rate is.
It starts with a 2 at least.

I don't know but I've got a feeling we will see kyogo here for longer than his contract. He's 27 now so peak years here then probs head back to Japan. Good 5 years at celtic and become a legend

 

Can see that being a distinct possibility.
Specially if we do reasonably well in Europe next season, he may see Celtic as being a club he could win a European medal with (not UCL obv) and as you say, back to Japan a winner.

That, or he will do another year and assess where he is at as a player, don't imagine he will move on from us at the age of 28/9 to a relegation fodder club somewhere else, surely will only move on to another club fighting for a league title at least, because he will go back to Japan in a few years surely and not want to so it as a loser/not winning medals.

To go to Forrest would be the daftest career move for him right now. As you say, his price starts above £20m.

 

The fact they’ve released photos of him in the kit launch is enough for me to know he’s or leaving this summer.

 

Plus....he's only started learning English.....wouldn't want to learn North East England too

That is a load of pish. Theres no way he's swapping playing in the Champions League for a stint with a relegation bound team down south. Especially when his Japanese pals are all here.

If you search "Nottingham Forrest Kyogo" nothing else on the entire internet makes any claims even similar to this. Literally nothing comes up at all. It would be picked up on all over the place by now if this was the case. Also 12.5 mil???? Celtic wouldnt entertain that for a player thats contracted until 2025. We could lose Kyogo to the EPL granted, its always a possibility......but it would be for a lot more than 12.5 mil and it would likely be to a lot bigger and better club than Nottingham Forrest.................this story is a load of pish trust me
