Account just started randomly tweeting a couple of weeks ago that she was reliable when it comes to Celtic transfers she must’ve got bored of the anonymity on that account…

Feels like every couple of windows KDS has new random posters that claim to be ITK

Fatboab seems to the only one who has his finger on the pulse. Even then he doesn’t even seem to claim mad inner workings of deals, just such and such is apparently done, signed, about to be announced etc. Celtic Underground and that all jump on the back of his stuff.

 

All it takes is someone to post something and boom.

Article from Portugal saying the hold up is with Jota’s contract, not with Benfica. Sounds like his agent is trying to get more money.

 

I'd say that's entirely expected in today's game.

His agent will be using his stats as evidence to try and push him into being the clubs top earner.

I've no doubts a deal will be struck regardless.

CELTIC fans were delighted this week after the club announced the capture of Cameron Carter-Vickers on a permanent contract.

The American was secured from Tottenham after a successful loan period last term and he was key as Ange Postecoglou's side lifted the Premiership trophy.

Another loanee who was influential was winger Jota, who was loaned out from Benfica.

Reports today from Portuguese outlet Record, say that personal details of the contract are currently a stumbling block.

Jota provided 13 goals and 14 assists in 40 appearances in all competitions.


Celtic included an option to buy the Benfica forward for a predetermined fee - believed to be around £6.5million - in the arrangement to bring the 23-year-old to Scotland last summer.

 

I wonder if the CCV was offered more money and Jota’s agent is wanting something similar or something like that.

You’d imagine CCV would be on more money since he’s coming from the money league.

I think if it is the case Jota’s agent is moving the goalposts then Celtic will likely walk away and Jota himself will have to force the deal.

All speculation of course.
