Both look cracking players Jorgensen was my second pick for a RW signing after Solbakken. He probably has a bigger upside but more risk given he is younger.

Kadak just looks a talent when you see him in videos, as you mention he looks good of either foot, and if I remember correctly times his runs in to the box well.

I also think there are good few options in the Scandinavian leagues for CMs, Gustav Berggren, BK Hacken; Sivert Mannsverk, Molde, Vettlesen, Bodo/Glimt, and Johan Hove Stromgodset, and the obvious one Swedberg at Hammarby.

 

With the exception on a guy like Hart...I know ange isn't one to normally look at players north of 30, but this window seems to be a little different in the amount of talent available on a free compared to usual.

I wouldn't be adverse to seeing us trying to nab something from it

Obviously what we could reasonably get assuming not a single one of those players extends or gets an immediate move is already limited but it seems like a bigger than usual pool of talent that is near available on a free if we could strike it lucky with someone.

 

Without knowing what we are doing behind the scenes but there have been a fair few good players agreeing deals on this basis this year.

As you say there are still some good ones out there. Not north of 30 but guys I wouldn’t mind would be:

Bazoer, Soares and Larin or Nordin would be good fits for our current team.

 

Martin Erlić, a CB at bottom-ish Serie A side Spezia debuted for Croatia last night. Left the best impression amongst all of our NT players, and made no errors. Tall, but sadly, right-footed.

 

If we were watching Itakura in the Bundesliga 2, hope we were watching Daniel-Kofi Kyereh. Would give us something totally different in the middle of the park. Pace and skill. Played 68 times for St Pauli in the last two seasons, scoring 22 goals and 16 assists. Ghana international now as well. Good age at 26. Transfermarket has his value at £2.7m. Contract expires next year. Could get him for a cut price fee possibly.

 

Wouldn’t be surprised if somebody like Newcastle goes for him

Aw joking aside, if it’s a small fee I’d take him in a second. Wouldn’t splash out though.

 

Martinelli and Andrè from Fluminense are outstanding.

Martinelli is a slick wee box to box midfielder and Andrè is a classy defensive mid.

Best Irish player on the park last night (not hard mind Ireland are absolutely horrific). The energy the guy brings is phenomenal. I'd imagine some lower level prem team would be willing to play lot more than us an would give him higher wages too. Hopefully see him against Scotland the weekend now

Yeah it's pure pipe dream stuff really....was never gonna happen as he'd have no shortage of clubs to choose from.

I'd still take Minamino on loan from Liverpool though.

 

Id go for Manor Solomon, reportedly available for £5.9m, only 22.

Guy is total class, a no brainer.

 

Andrè Trinidad is the man i'd love to see here in the 6 role. He's honestly excellent. Nobody can get ball off him and his passing range is superb while being incredibly crisp. Can defend well aswell but he's more of a deep lying playmaker like Calmac.

Valued at about £5 million with Liverpool and Barcelona supposedly sniffing about though...so probably more a pipe dream.

 

Jesus Ferreira, 21 year old American playing for FC Dallas, general attacking player for striker or wings, scored 4 for USA against Grenada and has a solid track record of goals and assists in MLS

 

João Gomes. Looks a solid, hardworking DM. Likely out of our price range and will end up in Serie A or somewhere but one can dream...
