Well obviously he was a big factor in how things went bad, but that doesn't mean he's not entitled to giving an opinion on a club he's been a massive part of. As I said he's not covered himself in glory and has said some * things since leaving but he's as qualified as anyone to give his views on our club

    Fair enough.

I disagree personally and find it a bit embarrassing so soon after his spell with us. Don't think he has read the room well at all and continues to do so.

    "* off" Neil.

    Yet again.

Hilarious coming from him, that he tells us what we need to make an impact in Europe.

When Ange has added strength and physicality on top of the cluster * of a squad ye left ya with.

Ccv, starfelt, hatate, Giakoumakis, all offer strength and physicality that was lacking in the most part from his side.

I think there is a difference in continually harping on about how last season was everyone else fault but his, compared to general comments about the team, I don't like that stuff as much as anyone. I can understand having issue with that.

I don't see how anyone can have great issue with him saying where he thinks the team could strengthen, he said nothing earthshattering or controversial, and again pretty complimentary of Ange.

You're probably right about him not reading the room.

José done it best at Roma, when asked if he has any advice for the new United manager.

He shut the question right down, said it's not his club and he was there to talk about Roma.

Thats normal, that's how managers with respect for both clubs, and a bit of self dignity would go about it.

Time and time again, he's putting his nose in to our club.

Sorry, but he had his time to make his opinion on our club/squad known and he * it up.

Specially an opinion on a squad, that he is the cause of it lacking what he tries to tell us that we need.

For me it isn't this interview in isolation that has led to my 'rant' or frustration.

Its hardly the first time he's been in the press since leaving. And it won't be the last.

I also would add that I don't really buy the whole complimentary side of things etc and giving it the whole "oh this is where I would strengthen" etc.

After what he's said in recent times and the way he's acted blaming ex staff, players even ex teammates for his failings I find it all a bit fake. But maybe he is being genuine.

    * knows. Onwards and upwards either way.

    And?

He didnae have a clue how to use him, he was constantly injured while Lennon was manager or playing roles that didn’t suit him. Or trying to punt him.

Can you tell me where he blamed ex staff, players and ex team mates for his failings.

For what it's worth, I put some of the blame on some of the players for his failings last year although I also understand it was unprecedented times that was never seen before in football and around the world where everyone's head was *. And don't give me sure the Huns got through it ok. They had a helping hand everywhere you looked from officials, government and even the tests for covid getting sent to east Belfast of all places to get tested. If we didn't have the plandemic, I truly believe we'd have done 10IAR.

While I understand what your getting at with Jose and maybe Lenny should have said something similar which I think would be better however you can't compare Jose's Roma and man u to Kenny with us. Neil Lennon was a big part of our club for well over a decade plus the Irish Celtic connection along with everything else he had to endure while with us. Your comparing apples and oranges. IMO he has earned his right to comment on us.

Last year after he had left he said he would have preferred to have different backroom staff, he's often spoke about the players letting him down and then recently he spoke about how his ex teammates were stabbing in him the back, despite the fact it took Sutton and Co an age to actually admit things were going wrong. Admittedly the latter ex teammates thing is just another example of him deflecting from himself, rather than them contributing to the team failing on the park.

Hes used the no crowd thing as well.

I don't think some players were giving their all but I'd honestly respect him a * of a lot more if he'd just held his hands up after he left and at least took some of the blame.

Don't think I've seen him do that yet.

Lennon giving Ange advice on how to strengthen the team is like Josef Fritzel telling you how to raise your kids.

    * off Neil you irritating *

And he lost that right when he called the fans entitled and said our voice was worthless and not wanted.

He doesn't care about you and me.

It's not what he said that I (or anybody else tbh) have a problem with. We do need to add more physicality to the team. It's the fact he continually, over a year since he was sacked, pipe up about issues with Celtic, when he caused the vast majority of the issues in the first place.

If he had kept his mouth shut since he was sacked, I suspect many people would have moved on and stopped caring about him, but he doesn't.
