Miro signed a new deal til 2026 with AEW. Delighted with that, he needs to be the next AEW champion.

 

Scott Hall had 3 heart attacks on Saturday night, he is on life support but according to Nash he is going to be taken off.

Hard to put into words how big the NWO were.

 

Despite never holding one of the big belts he changed wrestling with Hogan and Big Sexy. Back then you could be a star without being champ such as Piper and Million Dollar Man.

I think my biggest gripe with AEW currently is that the champions don't really feel that important.

I love Hangman, but his reign as champion has been a bit underwhelming imo. Nowhere near as good as Omega's or Moxleys atm.

Scorpio Sky does absolutely nothing for me. There are far more deserving people out there who could be TNT champ.

I love Jungle boy and Luchasaurus, but they feel like a fourth wheel compared to FTR, reDragon and the Young bucks.

There are easy fixes to this, give Punk the AEW championship, Malakai Black the TNT championship and FTR or PNP the Tag titles (Bowens is injured otherwise I'd say give it to the Acclaimed)

 

I think it's easier to give a heel a good run. It's always more fun when the face is chasing the arrogant * heel and loads had a go at the belt collector. You need a good bad guy to feud with to keep you looking good. If Cody had not been WrestleManias worst kept secret he could have worked. They need to elevate a bad guy soon.
Scorpio Sky is an odd choice, but I assume its short term.
Lucha Express are sort of over and even if 4th best, its 4th best in probably the most over tag team division in wrestling. I miss the days of proper tag teams.

 

Stadium event in September at Principality stadium. If doing a stadium they are going to have to chuck bug names at this surely.

 

Love everything they're doing with Wardlow, he feels like a massive deal currently.

 

Actually thought it was longer since I posted in here, but AEW has been awful recently.

The entire TNT title scene is abysmal, neither Scorpio Sky or Sammy Guevara have benefited from it, and there's much better talent who could help elevate the title like Miro did (Malakai Black, Ricky Starks, Swerve, even Hook)

You tend to forget there's tag champions currently as well. I love Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy, but they've done absolutely nothing since winning the belts. Would be given the titles to FTR or the Acclaimed.

Absolutely love Hangman, but his reign has been disappointing compared to Omega's, Moxleys and even Jerichos, needs to drop the title to Punk at the next PPV.

Nothing to say about the Womens title as it's been poorly booked for a long time, feel like nothing there will change unless Khan brings in other people to help.

The only champion who actually feels like a champion is Jade Cargill, who is excellent, but even she is running out of storylines.

There are still some good, the Wardlow storyline is excellent, the BCC are excellent (but they desperately need a feud), Jade is great, but it's a far shout from how good it was during Omega's reign.

 

AEW is pish up the ra

 

The TNT title is odd, they have plenty of upper midcarders to use as champions but Scorpio Sky.
You forget the tag scene? Well rumour is they want a trios title. I think AEW needs to repackage some singles wrestlers into proper tag teams and they'll be fine.
Problem Page has it is harder to be the face champ. Heels can get cheap heat, cheat through feuds and beat faces to get over. The face doing the chase is always better to. It's why Flair was NWA champ so long. You either need to be extremely charismatic or have a really over heel to feud with you to keep your reign memorable. Moxley feuded with MJF, Lee and Omega who were all really over with the crowd, especially the later. Who does Page have? Some * who shouts his name then says Babay. I do like a slow build but a feud with Cole isn't carrying you for 3 months, AEW may benefit from bi monthly ppv.

Jade is probably the only person on the roster I find interesting now but not enough to watch it.
